I'm going to be in Orlando for work the first week of November. I'm staying at Disney Springs. I'd like to uber over to Universal and spend a day solo touring. I've been 4 or 5 times with my family but I've never been able to solo tour and I I'm super excited. We usually stay at a Premier hotel so we can get the unlimited express passes. That's not an option for me this time so I'm trying to make some decisions.

I'm planning to get a park-to-park ticket. I CAN purchase express pass, but I don't know if I'll need it. Are there a lot of single rider lines? I don't mind spending the money if it will make enough of a difference but I don't want to throw the money away if I'll still be able to ride most things.

My must-dos are the 3 main HP rides (maybe more then once), spending time in both Wizarding Worlds, Spiderman, Transformers, Mummy and Jimmy Fallon. There are a few others I'd like to do if I have time.

And I know that I want to eat one meal at 3 Broomsticks. Suggestions for a 2nd quick service that in the parks? Any other solo tips or things you would do?

Thanks!

I don't think a EP will be necessary if your day is a weekday. I've never utilized Single Rider, but it's listed on a few of the rides on the app. I haven't looked at them all but it shows SR for VC, Gringott's & Forbidden Journey.
Have a great time!

I don't think that you are going to need it. I've taken a trip around this time of year before (and am doing so again this year) and it was relatively quiet.

YES!! There are lots of them and they are wonderful.

At Studios, there is Mummy (assuming that it is fully re-opened by then), Transformers, Gringotts and Men in Black. Simpsons might also have one, but that's not a ride that I do.

At Islands, there is Hulk, Spiderman, Kong (I think), Forbidden Journey, Velocicoaster, and Hagrids (this is only open some of the time).

I would definitely recommend doing the regular line for Gringotts and Forbidden Journey once as it is an experience in itself. Hagrids queue area is interesting, but personally not as worth it for me.

I'm a huge fan of the tots at Green Eggs and Ham. Also, the Leaky Caldron is a different experience (and has some different food). I've also heard great things about the crepes on the Studios side, but I have no personal experience with them.

Of those you listed, only Fallon doesn't offer single rider. (Neither does Simpson's or Kong, for the record - Kong lists it on the App but I've never seen it open). And EP won't help for Hagrids / exploring. I 100% would not sweat it, you wouldn't gain much with it.

VC single rider line was closed when we were there yesterday.

The crepes at Central Park are yummy and large. The sweet ones are really sweet tho. I got the brisket one and it was great but my kids got the strawberry and couldn't finish them.

Being just yourself you should have no trouble getting around to all of that. As mentioned most of the rides listed have single rider with the exception of Fallon. If you don't see one you can ask an attendant as on a few of them they are either hidden a bit or you start out going through the express line to get to it. If the park is slower they might not have them open though, but if that is the case the standby line should be short as well. I'd recommend doing the stand by lines for Gringotts and Forbidden Journey at least once though as they give you a tour through Gringott's bank and Hogwarts castle respectively, where a lot can be missed via single rider (not as sure about the express lane.) As it sounds like HP is a big focus of it for you, I'd make sure to do Ollivander's as well. Personally, I think the Diagon Alley location is the better one. It's bigger so moves faster, but the queue line is in a hall stacked with tons of wand boxes and some other props, whereas Hogsmeade it's mostly a basic rope queue outside.
