I was just able to buy my DD 1D tickets for their 2014 tour. She is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy.

Good for you!! Help me out! I got tickets for the 2013 tour and DD loved them, big Christmas surprise last year. This year, 2014 tour, they are not in Pittsburgh which I am sort of glad bc our sadium is open not air conditioned. They are however at Detroit. So it shows you can buy VIP tickets available now yet it will not let me complete purchase. I called and they told me tickets are not on sale for Detroit until Dec 7th. What venue did you get and were you able to buy VIP now?

I just went and looked again and saw VIP packages went on sale today (looks like they are all sold out already) and you can get a pre-sale deal if you have a CITI card. I don't have one and have already called all of my family and my good friend - none of them have one. I'm mad at myself - I checked this morning super early to see when they went on sale but didn't click through far enough to see VIP went on sale today so I missed out.

There is a citi card presale. You can only buy them if you have a citi card and the presale code is the first 6 digits of your card. Unfortunately just having the 6 digits isn't going to help because you have to pay with the citi card, it's the only option they give you

I got tickets today too! I had to borrow my brother in laws Citi Card. There will be a Facebook presale Dec 3rd. You need to go onto One Directions Facebook and click join on the event and I guess you will get the password at some point. I didn't see it today. I thought was going to be my only option.

When purchasing tickets online from Ticketmaster you always have fees. Actually, this summer there was a concert and you paid more in fees than the actual ticket price. It was a $20 ticket with $25 in fees. ha ha
Anyways, You will have the ticket price, service fee, facility charge and an order processing fee. The fees are per ticket except the oreder processing fee. So $40 for fees isn't unheard of at all. Our fees per ticket add up to $15.30. We get to shell out an extra $91.80 for 6 tickets. Good Luck!

The closest they are playing to Seattle is in Pasadena CA. Just logged on and looked at tickets.... I guess we could always go to Disneyland at the same time....

At least it wasn't the opposite way, with her being over them in July but having September tickets. Right?

Help! It seems I'm always missing ticket sales for the artists my DD's want to see. They are young enough still that they aren't really in the loop about these things either. By the time I figure out there is a concert coming up, the tickets have been sold out for a year!

I know I need to sign up for alerts somewhere but I don't really want to get spammed by Ticketmaster every day either. Sigh.

In the meantime, 1D is one of the bands they would love to see. Does anyone know whether they are likely to add another leg to their tour? I know that happens a lot . . . We are in Seattle but could also do Portland, OR or Vancouver BC.

Got four floor tickets in e Citi presale on Tuesdsy. VIP is what she wanted but they were not available. Happy with these seats though. We paid less for these four than for the two we got last summer!!
