On thursday we will be in Orlando from 6am untill 10pm we have a 3 year old and would like to take in a few attractions at the mk and maybe over to Fort Wilderness. Can anyone advise on a plan of action.

Thanks:bounce:

Get to the Park early! The only problem I see is that it is an Extra Magic Hour at MK on Thursdays which means resort guests get into MK an hour before the park officially opens so there will probably be a crowd already in the park. Arrive in time for opening (9:00) and head right to Fantasyland (through the castle) for rides your 3 yo can enjoy. As things get crowded enjoy an early lunch and then ride some attractions that are never that crowded like the TTA (aka People Mover) and WDW Railroad.

To get to FW you can drive over or take the monorail to the Contemnporary and then take the boat over to FW. That way your 3 yo can enjoy the monorail and boat rides rather than the car. You can then take the boat back to the Contemporary and the monorail back to the TTC/parking area. Hope you have fun.

Thank you so much for the time you took to reply sir. It will be his first time seeing WDW and I want to make the best of it for him.

Try calling 407-WDW-DINE and see if you can get a priority seating for either lunch or dinner at the Crystal Palace. I would ask for a lunch seating first. I've always loved having a lunch break around 1 with my kids when they were that age. It is a great time to unwind after a busy morning in the park. It never failed that my children needed that down time right around lunch.

The Crystal Palace offers a character lunch or dinner buffet style. Winnie the Pooh and characters will roam the room and stop at your table for hugs and pictures. If you are only going to be at WDW for one day, this will give your son the chance to meet some of the characters without having to stand in line to do so.

Have a great time and do arrive at the park as early as you can!!

I thought there was a boat running between MK, FW and WL. Couldn't the OP take the boat from MK to WL without having to go through the Contemporary?

Thanks everyone
I have just a few more questions please. How hard is it to rent the golf carts over at FW are they in short supply/high demand ?
Is Discovery Island open still open or has it closed since they opened AK. Can you suggest some rides a 3y/o would like and ones to avoid I was thinking of POC pirate: do you think that would be to intense for him.
