So, for a bday gift I am flying my wife and I down to LA to see Jason Mraz at the Hollywood bowl. It Will be a short trip. Of course the Disney nut in me could not fly into the LA area without going to Disney, so we are flying in on Wednesday the 21st @ 9:30am and heading strait to the park for one day.
The only thing I really want to do is see the ELP, but I am not sure if I really need to do the BB dinner package to make that happen. Anyone have experience with the parade without the package where you didn't have to camp out for hours for a good spot?

With only one day on this trip I don't want to commit that Kind of time to the parade.

What do you all think?

With only one day I would be planning to stay late anyway. So I would plan to play as long as possible then see the second parade. I don't think you need a dining package for the later parade.

The Alladin grab and go package might work better for you. Then you won't lose as much time to BB. But truth be told. You might really appreciate a chance to sit down and enjoy a nice meal since you are planning on a long day.

We haven't done a dining package for the parades before. We usually do the second parade and have no problems finding a spot. But as pp stated the Aladdin grab and go sounds like a good thing to do to ensure a spot.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I would assume that thre will be 2 parades a night in late June. Any opinions on if I am of base with that?

I haven't had any problems getting a good viewing spot for the second parade. I usually sit down 30 minutes before the show the starts.
