One Day..One park options??

Just decided to add a day infront of our upcoming trip. My question is...staying at WL for one night then moving over to the Boardwalk. Is there anywhere, besides WDW gates, that I can purchase a ticket for one night...as we want to meet some friends in Epcot on our arrival night and I won't have my tickets till the next day when we check into the BW.
Anyone know of anything cheaper than...$58.00 for one night at Epcot? (especially if we are only there a few hours!)

the only place for a 1 day hopper is at the gate. and no discount.

I have read something on the board about people purchasing
convention tickets and there some convention tickets are only good after 2:00 pm. Maybe you could buy one of those, you might try search under convention tickets and see what you come up with. OR somebody on this board might know how they work.

You can also buy 1 Day/ 1Park tickets at WDW resorts and at the DD Guest Relations desks.

since you seem to be a regular disney world visitor, would you consider buying a multi-day hopper and using only one day of it and saving the rest for another visit... although you have to put the money out now, it could be worth it in the future if/when the prices for disney tickets increase!

If your DOD, military retired, or active duty, you can purchase your tickets at Shades of Green at a discount.
If not, i would try and meet somewhere other than Epcot, like DTD.
4 day hopper pass would be my 2nd choice, days never expire.

Just a suggestion...you could meet at Beaches and Cream (4pm would be ideal if you want to say hi and catch up)...get vouchers for your DH and yourself...then use the second dessert voucher to let your friends order a dessert to share!

Beaches and Cream is but a short boatride away from EPCOT (exit from the landing between UK and France)...most likely by this time of day your friends will be up for a break (for them a return to EPCOT by boat or walking will be convenient)...and if you really do make this meeting for 4pm you will likely not have ANY wait for a table...plusTHEY decide when they want to go back to EPCOT...for Illuminations or earlier.

...er, you do know what a "voucher" is, correct?

If the advice I gave sounded as if I thought I had superior knowledge..I apologize. I was just trying to figure out a way you could meet with your friends without it costing a fortune...and WITH making a little magic.

Thanks for all the great advice.....while pondering around the internet....we looked at all of our options..."convention tickets" they seemed too risky, not in the milatary, PH & PHP's are an awsome choice, but I'll never remember how many days/pluses I have left (too many senior moments! LOL),
a one day ticket at the gate,($58.31) added on to my UHP I'd get the next day at the BW for 4nts/5days.....($300.33)

Sooooooooo, for around another $50 bucks or so,... I've decided.... to get an Annual Pass! ($403.64) That way I can go where I want to, when I want to and it will force me make plans for another trip!!! rolleyes: Great way to think, huh? Gotta go back, gotta make another WDW trip......Just have to!! at least one more!!)

p.s. Oyzmoe....I just love B&C and we do use the vouchers whenever we are there!!! Just love the Prime Rib sandwich and the onion rings are to die for!! (Not to mention the low-fat ice cream sundaes they have too!!! )
