Thinking of putting in a request for congress park at saratoga.

We have booked for a two bed villa.

The "good view" rooms are classed as "lock up" - one bed villa and studio.

Can I ask please, if we went for this would we get to two double beds in one room in the one bed villa or the studio?

Also would I be right in thinking that if we requested a "lock up" then we would get the bed sofa in the lounge at both the one bed and villa?

If so I think this might work out better for us if disney would allow us to use both sofa beds

Many thanks

There will be a double bed and a sofa bed in the studio. The 1 bed villa would have a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. All in all, this arrangement will sleep up to 8 people...

Disney allow you to use all available beds including the sofa beds - HTH. :thumbsup2

I feel I should quantify this statement as it's based on comments I made in another thread. My idea of a "good view" may not be shared by all. Also, not all the lock-offs have good views. My detailed explanation made sense in the context of the other thread, but this summation isn't what I intended to impart. I just wouldn't want anyone reading this in isolation to be get the wrong end of the stick. :)

Oh no sorry, did not mean for it to be put in the wrong way, what I should have said I suppose is "my preferred" view

After discussing with my mum, she feels we should go for an actual two bed villa, as if we got a "lock up" then we would def get two sofa beds, whereas when we booked it twelve months ago we did request two double beds in the one bedroom rather than one bed and one sofa.

So back to the drawing board :sad2::sad2:

Yes its me again .... sorry ........ can anyone tell me do you get two double beds in the one bed villa at any time?? Or is it only supposed to sleep 4?

Just thinking the two bed can sleep up to 8 :goodvibes

I think this will answer your question:
  • a studio at SSR will have one queen-bed and one double sofa-bed
  • a one-bedroom at SSR will have a king bed in the bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living room
  • a two bedroom lock-off at SSR will have both of the above
  • a dedicated two bedroom will have a king bed in the master suite, a double sofa-bed in the living room and two queen beds in the second bedroom. The second bedroom will have a vanity unit where the studio would have the mini-kitchen area.

so... no, you don't get two double beds in the one-bedroom
HTH ;)

Thanks for that, it has messed up my thoughts though.

Has anyone stayed at saratoga springs in a two bed villa, with a nice view, overlooking the pool or lake????
