One became SEVEN?!? How did THAT happen? 4/24 UPDATE

How do I say Thank You to those of you who are still here reading, praying and supporting us? It seems so lame, but I AM thankful/grateful. I DO read your notes and it IS special when you include us, even though I have been a bad DISer. Lisa has needed her Mama very much since Thanksgiving and many days of 24/7 care have taken its toll on me. I need a little downtime and the only way to really ensure that happens is to leave home...Tracy and her generosity was JUST what this family needed, God’s timing is always perfect! Thank you Tracy!!!

Glad you got to talk to someone from guest services about your concerns for the DAS. That's great she gave you some tips to use. Hope they work out for your family.

I love that your family has been able to go on these trips. Sometimes that's all you need is some down time. It is great your brother in law has let you use the timeshare and now you get to go with Tracy!! Such amazing times for your family.

Hope tomorrow's appointments go well and that you guys are on the mend. So happy that you are able to be there for Lisa and yes that's all our kids need at times is their Mom.

Yes, I love how Emile's cheeks have gotten so chubby. It is nice that siblings are allowed short visits in NICU. That's an interesting tip - I could see how being cold and naked would help from falling asleep!

My mom says terrible twos, trying threes.

He is a cutie!! I was horrible though I'd strip Jeremy down to just a diaper and then I'd feel bad when he'd be cold that I'd cover him up with a receiving blanket. Don't think that's what they meant when they said strip them down.

Oh yes he is trying my patience every day!!! I think he knows he can get away with a little more than normal right now because I just don't have the strength to fight him to get him to follow the rules like I did with the other two.

I came to ask that you pray for my neighbor. Her 33 year old son was found dead in his bed this morning. Right now his 7 year old is on my couch playing video games on my DS and watching cartoons. He asked me if his dad is okay. I told him that I couldn't say. I had no clue what to say. I am so sad. He and my nephew were really good friends when they were younger. His mom Linda and I are friends. I have no clue what to say to her. Please pray for his family.

OMG!! Prayers for your neighbor's and that precious little boy!! Not something any family wants to go through but especially not right now with the holidays.

Happy New Year's Eve!

Judy, I hope you and Lisa are doing better!

When we lived up north, we headed down here every time Grumpy got out of the hospital. The Florida sunshine always did him good. After 4 hospitalizations in 1999, his pediatrician told us to move to Puerto Rico where he could live in a more temperate climate. We ended up here in Florida. His breathing hasn't been better! I hate being so far away from family, but seeing him healthy all these years has made it worth it!!

Tracy, I hope you are having a great time at the hotel and mall!

Michele, I am TRULY sorry, how horrible for everyone involved, especially that sweet child. I know your trip is close, it can't get here soon enough.

Thank you. I feel so bad. I had no words to use and I am a person of words. I did see his wife today and she is better, the shock has worn off and she is no longer hysterical. I was so glad we could help with their son yesterday. We are headed to Disneyland on Sunday and I am going to look for something for him.
