One became SEVEN?!? How did THAT happen? 4/24 UPDATE

Happy Saturday! Sure hope Lisa is doing better! Continued prayers for all the requests.

Judy, I hope and pray Lisa sees continued improvement and that her numbers get back up where they need to be soon.

Prayers for John and Jonnie, and the rest of the family as you all care for them.

So happy to see little Emile making such good progress! He is starting to get some baby fat now and filling out so nicely! Fingers crossed he makes it home for Christmas.

Emile was moved to a new 'pod' in the NICU, in level 2. :thumbsup2
Here is a new photo his mom sent me:

Prayers for Lisa and her mommy and the rest of the family as well.

We just got back from Disney very late last night. So sorry to hear Lisa is not doing wel. I will continue to pray for her and also her Mama.

Judy, hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and that Lisa is improving. Keeping you all in prayer along with those who asked for prayer!

Hi to all, I hope every one has a great week and all with health issues are improving.

Judy! Praying Lisa is improving. :goodvibes
Tracy, Emile looks so good. I am happy you will be seeing him soon, either in the hospital or at your sister's home. Your family is blessed to have you too.
Thanks, he is looking good and if he continues as he is he will be home.

Judy,

Tracy,

Emile is so beautiful!

Thoughts and prayers for all.
:goodvibes Thanks

Judy, thanks for the update. We will be praying that Lisa continues to improve. Im afraid we need prayers as well. Neigther John or Jonnie are doing well. Both of them have been having problems with thier chronic conditions but now Jonnie has caught some bug that I am praying John does not get. That is the last thing we need. Judy I know you know better than most what a problem a virus could be for John right now, especially in an already weakened state.

Sorry to hear that Jonnie has caught a bug, hope John has been able to avoid getting it!

It's amazing how fast they grow in such a short amount of time. I hope he continues to grow and is able to go home very soon!!

Judy glad to hear from you. Happy that Lisa at least seems to be on the mend. Continued prayers for her, Emile and everyone else that needs them.
Thanks for your prayers!

Tracy, your nephew is getting so big and he is so cute. That would be great if he could be home for his first Christmas.
Marilyn
Thanks, he is growing! He needs to get over 5lbs and off the oxygen be considered for release, but he is progressing in the right direction!

Tracy - continuing my prayers for your nephew and your family.
Thank you they are appreciated!

Praying you all have a peaceful day. :grouphug:
Thanks! :goodvibes

Thank you! He is filling out!

New week, new hope. Praying the weekend went well.

Thanks hope you had a good weekend too. Mine was too short! And we had a big snow storm yesterday so I didn't make it over to my mom's to start Christmas baking like I was suppose to.
Hope everyone has a great week. :goodvibes

Hi to all, I hope every one has a great week and all with health issues are improving.
Thanks, I hope so too!

Judy, I've been praying that Lisa has improved and continues to improve. I hope that you'll be able to stop long enough to give us an update as I know that we are all worried.

Judy, we just got back from Florida/Disney yesterday, and I read that Lisa has not been well. I just wanted to add my prayers along with all of the others praying.

Tracy, Emile is looking better and hope that sweet baby is home soon.

Lisa IS better. We do have a long way to go, she is not back to "her" normal. So much is going on here I barely have time to sleep. Rachel and I have two school visits with Bandit this week (all morning affairs). Lisa loves these visits; however, is not able to do everything, so she will miss out on them. Thank Heavens Christian can stay with her while we are out. We ARE trying to let her keep to her schedule as much as possible, it upsets her when she has to miss out of things she loves, which makes things even harder sometimes.

Lisa and Rachel had mid-point sharings at Theater last night...at the same time. I went to Lisas with David and Pete went to Rachels with Christian. Lisa won the Theater of Excellence award in her class! Her teacher said she had NEVER had a harder working student who took their craft so seriously. In the spring the Theater puts on 4 intensive plays and she will be allowed to register a week before the parts are opened up to the general public. The Onstage production is a HUGE deal, the teacher told us last night there will only be 200 spots for these shows and typically they turn away at least three hundred applicants. Being allowed to register early guarantees Lisa a spot in the shows. Tuition is $150, which is quite a lot for us, so we shall see. The time commitment is also daunting, we will have to wait and see how things progress to know if this is something we can allow Lisa to be a part of. I am just incredibly proud of her! To be chosen out of her class, with all she has been through, brought happy tears to my eyes.

I genuinely appreciate those of you who have left us messages of support, even those who have just returned from Vacation. Your prayers have helped TREMENDOUSLY! I am seeing glimpses of my Lisa, even if she is still not well. I can't believe how ill she has been, it has hurt me deeply to see her so sick. Words escape me and you know that isn't easy to do...

I AM praying for all who have asked!!! Krystal,:hug::hug:

So thankful Lisa is doing better! She truly is an amazing child! Congrats on her award! Have a great day!

Happy to read that Lisa is doing better and will continue to pray for full recovery. Glad she had a great review from her theater teacher and that she won the Theater of Excellence Award!:thumbsup2 Things will work out if Lisa is to get some parts for the plays. Wonderful news for you Judy to hear this about Lisa especially after all she's been through lately.

Tracy, hope you get to fly on that plane to Orlando! How fun would that be to get you in the mood for Disney!

Thank you so much for taking time out to update us! Thank the Lord Lisa is feeling better. I know that it breaks your heart to see your baby so ill.

Congratulations to Lisa for winning the theater excellence award! (as if she wouldn't ;)) Give her a congratulatory hug from Mrs. Lisa, Mr. John and Hunter.

That's so wonderful to hear that prayer is being answered and Lisa IS better!!

How fun that you and Rachel are doing school visits with Bandit. I'm sure the kids love it and are learning so much from Rachel and Bandit. That stinks that Lisa can't go as I know how much she loves it too. I'm glad Christian is able to stay with her.

Doesn't it just figure they'd schedule Lisa and Rachel's mid-point sharings at the exact same time?

Congratulations to Lisa for her win! I can see how seriously she approaches it by the videos you've shows. She has much to overcome in comparison to the other children. But her drive, ambition, perseverance, bring her to the top.

As for the spring plays, if it's meant to be, it's going to happen regardless of the price of tuition. I know you know that already. How great that she is guaranteed a spot! Will Rachel be trying out for this too?

Continued prayers for Lisa's recovery. May you soon be seeing the "real Lisa" at every glance not just short glimpses of her. The Florida sunshine will soon do her some good too! It just needs to cool down a bit before you come.

It was 88 degrees last week in one neighboring town. Now that's too hot for December in Florida. The week before that was a total dream with 70's in the day time and 60's at night.
