Yeah Emile!! Looks like he's getting so big too from the first pictures you've posted. Continued prayers!!

Judy hope Lisa is on the mend.

Thank you for those of you who continue to let me know you are praying. I BELIEVE prayer helps, God hears them all.

Lisa appears slightly better; however, we have a long way to go. This is but one problem that faces her daily journey. Her labs were extremely low at the hematology clinic yesterday and the appt took twice as long as it should. Everything is a time drain and while I love Christmas as much as anybody, productivity and good sense seem to go out the window the day after Thanksgiving. Medical problems do not take a vacation, unfortunately. It is a mental, physical and emotional drain when you have to follow-up everyones every move they make concerning your child...once again though I thank God for giving me the heart to be a nurse, I have no idea how I would navigate this journey otherwise, it is constant vigilance and questioning...and sometimes Mama bear roaring, that gets the answers. It shouldn't be this hard, but it is. The sheer volume of the variety of needs makes it exhausting at times.

Gail, Thank you for your call yesterday afternoon, that helped me more than you know. It was God's timing, because I had just had time to finish my breakfast/lunch at 2 PM, before we dashed back out 45 minutes later.

My prayers continue for all of you who have asked. My days aren't often easy; however, the load is lightened by caring folks. Thank you. :flower3:

TRACY, Emile looks beautiful! We had to be very creative in the "clothes" Lisa wore with all of her tubes/wires...I found "armholed" bibs that worked and his little gown reminds me of that! Lisa had a Tinkerbelle one and a Cinderella one...Praying he continues to get stronger and is soon ready for his car seat challenge...that REALLY brings back memories! Lisa had to be able to fly from Philly to Charlotte. Even with all we are going through right now, I am grateful for how far we have come. Thank you for the reminder. :goodvibes

Glad she appears slightly better. Continued prayer that she will be feeling great and those lab levels will be back where they belong

Judy, this verse came to me this morning:

Eph. 10:6 ...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Both you and Lisa are warriors for the Lord and will win this current battle with her health and have complete victory. The Lord is on your side and fighting along with you.

It was perfect timing when I called yesterday wasn't it. Only God could have arranged it so. God choose the right mom for Lisa. He knew that she was in good hands and still is. She is blessed to have you as her mom and we are blessed for knowing Lisa and the family because of you Judy. Thank you for sharing the struggles and victories of your family with us. We continue to lift you up in prayer. Give Lisa a hug from Aunt Gail and here's one for you

Also Billy sent an e-mail for Lisa to read.

Tracy, Thank you for the update and picture of Emile! Love the gown he's wearing and seeing how much bigger he's gotten. He and his family are in my prayers and pray that he gets to go home very soon!

Judy so glad you checked in. Praying that Lisa improves
I am sorry that you holiday season isn't very merry and you have to continue to fight for answers.
Praying for all of you :hugs:
Lisa's bibs sound cute, and I'm glad how far she has come. The flight home must have been stressful! I continue to hope Emile will be home by Christmas, although I will be thankful either way because I will get to see him.

This expresses exactly how I feel about you Judy, I need a like button for a thousand times of likes!

Thank you for the update, my prayers will continue and I am so thankful we have such a strong prayer group on your threads, what a blessing. I am sorry the Christmas season has been so tough, claiming better days for you all.

Tracy, Emile looks so good. I am happy you will be seeing him soon, either in the hospital or at your sister's home. Your family is blessed to have you too.

Judy, thank you so much for popping in to give us an update on Lisa. We will all continue to pray that she improves. God definitely had a plan when He had you pursue your career choice.

Judy,

Thank you for the word on Lisa. Know that you are all in my prayers.

Tracy,

Emile is so beautiful!

Thoughts and prayers for all.

Judy, thanks for the update. We will be praying that Lisa continues to improve. Im afraid we need prayers as well. Neigther John or Jonnie are doing well. Both of them have been having problems with thier chronic conditions but now Jonnie has caught some bug that I am praying John does not get. That is the last thing we need. Judy I know you know better than most what a problem a virus could be for John right now, especially in an already weakened state.

I know, he looks huge from when he was first born
The prayers are appreciated.

It's amazing how fast they grow in such a short amount of time. I hope he continues to grow and is able to go home very soon!!

Judy glad to hear from you. Happy that Lisa at least seems to be on the mend. Continued prayers for her, Emile and everyone else that needs them.

Judy I was so sorry to hear that Lisa was sick once I finally got caught up. I hope that she continues to improve and that they can figure out what is causing it and get her some treatment if possible.

Tracy, your nephew is getting so big and he is so cute. That would be great if he could be home for his first Christmas.

Marilyn

Something told me to check on here tonight and I know it was God.

Judy - Im sorry to hear about Lisa and I will be praying extra for her and your family.

Tracy - continuing my prayers for your nephew and your family.
