Once Was Enough.

Restaurants...
-hoopdeedoo (boring, bad food)
-ohana breakfast (bad food selection, little character interaction)
-luau dinner(terrible overall)
-dont kill me but... victoria and alberts... I never need to pay $500 for 2 people to eat ever again
-not a fan of brown derby either but unfortunately others i go with are

Attractions...
MK:
Tiki Room
STITCH

EPCOT:
Maelstrom.. there is seriously a FP for this??
Nemo... so bad.

AK:
Primevil Whirl... never never never again and we love thrill rides!!

DS:
i dont really need to do anything here except ToT, RRC, fantasmic, star tours, and toy story.

My list isn't too long because there are a lot of things we went to when our guys were younger (much younger) that we haven't done in years.
For now, I wouldn't bother with
Tom Sawyer Is.
Poly Luau (we went before Stitch)
Treehouse
the revised Figment (loved the original)
Living Seas with Nemo (again loved the original)
Tiki Room

And I was surprised to see some of the comments about American Adventure. We love it. But then I always enjoyed early American History. And the film at the end that shows so many people and their accomplishments. We go every time!

Oh yeah. I agree totally with lajspeech... Maelstrom. What a waste of a fast pass that was. I also can do without Honey I Shrunk The Audience... my wife loves it but it does nothing for me.
Also, I'm surprised about how many folks said they can do without Mission Space. That's one of my favs!

To me the American Adventure is very similar to the Hall of Presidents. I usually choose one or the other. The singing group in AA is great though!

Also, I grew up in Boston and Philly. The AA is pretty much the Disney-ized version of the real thing, which I've seen more times than I can count. (I still cry if I go see it though! ;) )

Disney Quest. I hated it and (surprisingly!!!) so did my computer game loving teenagers. Too hot, stuffy and smelly!!!!!

Bah!:rotfl:

My thoughts exactly. Maybe they made it for the same crowd that likes the Stitch ride!

Hrrm, that would be my 4 year old then! She LOVED the Stitch thing, begged to do it over and over again. But, she loves Stitch. I think she thought that was really him up there.
Snow White was being refurb'd when we were there but we will do it in Sept - I know she won't be scared, she's a wild woman and LOVES Snow White.

oh, this is going to be a long list....

let's see:

tea cups
astro orbiter
swiss family treehouse
carpets of aladdin
country bear jamboree
splash mountain
tom sawyer island
stitch's great escape
indy speedway
space mountain
dumbo (DH hated it - all 3 times i made him ride it with me...)

journey into imagination (both this "new" version as well as that "old" version with the purple dragon - sorry folks, hated it!!!!)
turtle talk
mission space
mexico boat ride (the "new" donald duck version)

star tours
indiana jones stunt show

maharajah jungle trek

(there's more, but i'll stop here - this list is why when we now go to disney, we spend more time sitting on benches, people-watching....)

Turtle Talk with Crush--saw it--not bad--dont need to see it again
Toon Town--unless I want to get on the train there
EMH--didnt want to go on an EMH day, but Disney in its infinite wisdom had morning EMH EVERY day for a WEEK at MK--survived the EMH in order to see MK--prefer not to do it that way again

Now if I were to be fortunate enough that we were to have a miracle baby, I would change my mind on the first two, but it looks pretty hopeless about that.:sad1:

It's a Small World. Rode it with my boys when they were 3.5 and 5.5 and that was more than enough. The song drives me crazy, and the spinning dolls don't help. Nothing else even comes close.

Okay, I've seen several people mention the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I like it because you can take it at your own pace, and you get a lovely view of the Kingdom that you can't get from any other vantage point. :)

Sci-Fi Drive-in Restaurant at STUDIOS, once was enough. On the dining plan, we had dinner. Not so good food. Ambiance fun for the kids but i won't waste Dining plan meal sit-down there again.

Same here. We tried it twice, both times the food was only average and I don't care to try it again...:rolleyes1

My DH and I still wonder and still can't figure out what all they hype is about for POTC... we thought is was lame... just floating around on a boat - almost like IASW but with Pirates theme.... I CAN NOT beleive a movie was based off that ride... we were bored senseless....

If someone can explain the allure of this ride to me - maybe we will try it again... otherwise it is on our "DO NOT" list....

:confused3
I don't know if there's anything anyone can say to change your mind, then.

I love the ride and the way it takes you away from the real world and into the world of the Pirates. You're in the dark, you're going over a drop, you're in the middle of cannon fire and the burning of a village. Even the queue area is cool. I think if you let your imagination help out a little the ride could be more enjoyable

I'm not sure about the Jack Sparrow update. They did a good job, but it feels sort of tacked on, which it kinda was......

(I agree with lots of the other things, but Whispering Canyon? LOVED that place!)

Astro Orbitor...scared the bejebbers out of me! I HATE heights and you don't realize how high you are until you are in there!

Kali River Rapids...the ride is entirely to short for such a long wait and I am ALWAYS the one that get soaked!

Rides/Attractions we skip: Astro Orbiter, Dinosaur, It's tough to be a bug show, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, RnRc, TOT, Stitch and Mission Space

Rides/Attractions we don't have to ride, but will if someone asks: Aladdin's Carpets, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tiki Room, Indy Speedway (I hate it!!), IASW, Country Bears, Innoventions, Star Tours, Backlot Tour and Stunt Show at Studios.

Resorts we won't repeat: Pop and OKW. (We may give OKW a try again in the future but, we were really disapointed earlier in the month when we were there)

We have not had any negative restaurant experiences so, we are good with those.

Okay here are some of my ONE TIME ONLY things. :rolleyes1

Hall of Presidents-- I dont know.. i first went on it when i was little and ever since then i VOWED not to go on it because it was so boring.

Swiss Family Treehouse-- Its not that i DIDNT like it, but i just thought one time was good enough.

Country Bears-- Another one of those attractions that i saw when i was younger and thought was boring.. haha.

Stitches Great Escape-- Ehhh it was okay, Not really worth the wait. And i personally thought it was going to be better, but you just sat there..

Sounds Dangerous-- The wait wasnt really worth it.. I mean it was a good time waster though...

Spaceship Earth-- I really dont get why people rave about this haha. All you do is sit in a moving cart. Hahahaha. Sorry to the people that liked it... :)

WOW! I never met a ride or attraction I did not like!:confused3 But, probably would not try Mama Melrose or Luau again (just because there are to many better options)!

Wow... After reading all 7 pages of rides and attractions and resorts and restaurants people didn't like so much, I'm starting to wonder:

WHY AM I STILL GOING TO DISNEYWORLD IN SEPT AT ALL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
