Once Upon A Time

At first I was thinking August was the 7 year old boy.
Then I thought maybe the writer of Henry's book (but I think the producers discounted that theory, but I'm not sure).

Now I'm leaning toward the narrator of the book.

Can't wait to find out!!!

Or the "caretaker" of the book.... whatever that might mean... LOL Just thinking out loud....

Okay, so what Disney character is a jokester/ causes a ruckus/ messes with the natural order of things/ plays with the queen/ is against the queen but plays jokes/ I am trying to think outloud. If there aren't lemars in Nepal (obviously I don't know my Madagascar--it seems others knew from that film), what game is August playing? Why did he lie--about that? So, if he does lie, what characters lie to play others for a fool but in a way that seems "not" evil. Does any of this make any sense or give anyone else any ideas?

I love this crazy show! and I seem to miss way too many nuances!

In another post, someone mentioned that the Mad Hatter will come to Storybrook. I think that might fit your description.

Or the Cheshire Cat?

I don't know if Stitch counts as a fairy tale.

How about Walt Disney? He wasn't the original writer of fairy tales but he rewrote or retold them. :smickey:

So regarding the last episode...

The interesting things/mystries are:

What was August up to with Red with his 'story', his lie about lemurs?
What was up with David not being 'himself' in the woods?
He looked right through MM and said "I'm looking" twice and that's it and then he was found passed out, not remembering how he got there.
Does Regina somehow have control of him?
MM words were "it's like he was a different person".
What was up with the heart in the box?
Whose heart is it and why is it only MM's fingerprints?
What was up with Red and Dr. Whale talking on the street corner?
Was that just to throw us off and have us think he's the wolf? I don't think so.
But it was done for a reason, for sure.

That's what I was thinking, but I am horrible with this.

So we now know Red is the wolf in FTL, but is she also the wolf that we have seen wondering around SB?

Also, why did she go back to work at the diner with her GM? Is she scared of something?

Adding. I also dont think that the heart belongs to Davids wife. I dont think we have seen the last of her just yet. I think MM's finger prints were somehow planted by Regina.

For those Once Upon a Time fans who couldn’t make it to Beverly Hills last week to attend the freshman drama’s PaleyFest panel discussion, Hulu has conjured up a special treat: You can watch the full hour-long Q&A right here.

Already TVLine hit you with a recap of the event’s most magically delicious scoops, but by pressing PLAY below you can see the cast and creators expound on those as well as many other topics. Plus, you can weigh in on the new Chuck Taylors I wore as moderator (since you can’t get a clear view of my nifty, rare “Find Flight 815″ T-shirt).

As an added bonus, I’ve listed below the player a “laundry list” of what is discussed and at the time stamp where you can find it. Enjoy!

EMMA CONTINUES HER SEARCH FOR EVIDENCE TO PROVE MARY MARGARET’S INNOCENCE IN KATHRYN’S MURDER, AND REGINA MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN BETROTHVING A ROYAL OR BETRAYING HER MOTHER AND MARRYING A COMMONER, ON ABC’S “ONCE UPON A TIME”

Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and before evil blackened her soul, Regina must choose between betraying her mother, Cora (Barbara Hershey), and marrying for true love, or betrothing royalty and living a regal – but loveless – life; and the event that caused the Evil Queen to loathe Snow White is revealed, on “Once Upon a Time,”

Okay, so, first off, I kept reading the title as Emma continues her search for her mother. :rotfl: Darn astigmatism!

But, real stuff now, I wonder if Regina was about to run off with her true love & Snow accidentally said something to her mother which gave Regina away. It would explain the Snow hate.

You realize that "regina" is Latin for "queen," right?

I didn't know that...thanks. :goodvibes

In another post, someone mentioned that the Mad Hatter will come to Storybrook. I think that might fit your description.

Or the Cheshire Cat?

Since we were given the name of the person playing the Mad Hatter, can you think of anyone else like this?

So regarding the last episode...

The interesting things/mystries are:

He looked right through MM and said "I'm looking" twice and that's it and then he was found passed out, not remembering how he got there.

Does this have to do with Snow White taking the potion to forget him??

What was up with Red and Dr. Whale talking on the street corner?
Was that just to throw us off and have us think he's the wolf? I don't think so.

But it was done for a reason, for sure.

I think it was to throw us, but I think it will go somewhere...

When Emma goes searching for a missing Mary Margaret in the March 25 episode, she crosses paths with Stan’s character, a man who loves hats so much, he’s teetering on the edge of madness. In fact, he’s so nuts, he kidnaps the Sheriff! Is it August to the rescue?

As EP Steve Pearlman told TVLine, the Mad Hatter episode “is quite a big one for Emma. She comes into contact with a new character in Storybrooke who starts her onto a bit of a different journey” — to, where, the town milliner?

“Hat Trick” looks set to be a big episode for the hapless Sheriff Swan. According to Jennifer Morrison, Emma’s journey with the Storybrooke Hatter (Sebastian Stan) represents a turning point for her character:

It does start to plant some interesting seeds in Emma, because it’s another person saying to her some of the things that Henry has been saying. She can still justify it away in the sense that, “Well, maybe he read the book. Maybe there’s another copy of the book. Maybe he heard about the book.” But it is really the first time that there are little chips in Emma’s armor in terms of her thinking; not necessarily that there really is a curse and that everybody really is a fairytale, but I think it’s really that turning point for her to realize that there is something very dark and possibly dangerous going on that she needs to try to figure out.

I'm so glad I found this thread!
I absolutely live this show - but then I was a huge Lost fan too so...

Loved Red as the Wolf. I thought it was Granny after she showed her scar.
Sort of on target but not quite!

Robert Carlyle was on Twitter answering questions from fans yesterday. He said that they've got two more weeks of filming. I'm guessing that's still season 1 stuff since season 2 is officially official yet. So, consider this exchange:

@robertcarlyle_ I heard the weather yesterday was pretty crazy. You staying warm out there?
@Zerinity apart from Dorothy flying past the window it's not too bad

There you have it people. Expect a "Wizard of Oz" episode this season.

Just watched Sunday's episode!
Poor Ruby! All she wanted was to leave home, and now she can never go home. :sad1:
Plus did anyone else hear the "once a month" thing and think that she is cursed with the WORST PMS ever! Especially when Granny said hers faded as she got older? :rotfl2:

Okay, so what happens to her once a month in Storybrooke? Does she turn into a regular nonkilling wolf?

"For those disappointed that my Paley panel (watch it here!) didn’t conjure up scoop on Belle, whom we know is being held prisoner beneath the Storybrooke hospital, here’s some intel from the red carpet. “I would be disappointed if you reveal her to be in Storybrooke and you don’t show that again,” series creator Eddy Kitsis teased. “But God help whoever put her there.” Robert Carlyle was of the same mind, opining that Rumpelstiltskin and Belle “will meet again. Definitely. But probably not in fairytale land.” And as for Regina’s role in the ruse, “If he ever finds out that [she] hid her away, there’s going to be trouble for sure.”"

in the Carlyle interview from Paley that I saw he mentioned it wouldn't so much be Rumple and Belle getting together, but Mr Gold and Belle....hmmm....

it was also cute when he spoke of Rumple being partly influenced by commedia dell'arte and partly by the voice his little boy does
