Double post. The first one gave me a weird error. I went back to the last page of the thread, refreshed it, and saw no post. So I posted it again. Sorry.

Since I have another post here I might as well use it to expand on the idea... The mystery stranger is a writer. He's come to Storybrooke for "inspiration." The Grimm Brothers recorded other people's stories. Storybrooke would be a good place to come if you were interested in writing down fairy tales like the Grimm Brothers did.

Perhaps, he research on the subject brought him to Storybrooke. Maybe he's discovered another book from the same source as Henry's. Maybe HE wrote Henry's book and as a fairy tale writer he has some special power that allows him to interact in Storybrooke while being outside of the curse.

DS16 has a theory that the stranger is the writer of Henry's storybook. Maybe his last name will be Grimm???

He also made the observation that all the Princes in the stories are named Charming, and asked how come none of them are called Prince Smart or Prince Skilled? And then in the part where Snow White gives James back the letter and tells him she never loved him, DS comments to the tv "Read between the lines!" looks at me and says "See, this is where they need a Prince Perceptive"

I enjoyed this episode, as always.

I loved when she was in jail with Grumpy and he was whistling "Hi Ho"!!

I loved when she left with the 7 dwarfs.

I was so sad when we saw that she took the potion.

I wonder what the heck Rumple will do with Snow's hair???

I also wonder what Snow meant when she said to Red "I was the only one who would help you". I think they will explain that at a later date.

Red looked SO much prettier in Fairytale world.

The Brothers Grimm is also what popped into my mind when he opened his little case. I'm very interested to see where his story goes / how he fits in with everything.

So it seems, at some point, every character has made a deal with Rumple in the fairytale world...i'm curious to see what deals others have made. He seems to be a very central character, one that ties all the others together.

I had the same thought, or that he is some how tied to the writing of Henry's book. Somehow I think he is tied to Gold/Rumple since Rumple knew that it would be Emma that would break the curse.
