I am confused that they keep saying "only one knows" and that would obviously (now, with the heart thing) be Regina- but Gold certainly knows a lot and so does Henry actually. I'm wondering if Regina knows SOME of it, but not all She doesn't know who Emma is, or Emma would most certainly be dead by now. Don't you think?

I think she is the Miller's daughter, her father of course was the Miller... Snow's Dad was the King she married... so she had to promise her first baby to Rumplestiltskin right? Then there was the whole "guess my name" thing....

Yes. Charles Perrault wrote (or wrote down) Beauty and the Beast. It's definitely a fairy tale.

LOVED last night's episode...although not happy about Graham. As far as a pp mentioning filming under water...one of my recent Entertainment magazines confirmed they are going to do a little mermaid episode, but gave no details, other than it's difficult to put mermaid on land, lol. I guess we'll see. I didn't catch that we have to wait until January...ugh.

I'm wondering what Mr. Gold was up to out in the woods...wearing what looked like a butcher's apron.

So sad about Graham! I really hope this isn't the last we see of him!?? I want to know more. So many questions I want answers to!

Even if it is only in flashback, I'd be willing to bet he'll show back up another time or two.

I finally got to watch Sunday's episode last night (we were flying home from WDW when it aired Sunday night) and thought it was excellent. I was spellbound. And I have to say I liked Emma's character more in this episode than ever before.

This show just keeps getting better and better. I think it is my new favorite for the year.

I am so sad that they killed off the Sheriff. Even though I figured it would be him, I spent the whole episode silently praying that it would not be.

It is going to be so hard to wait until January for new episodes.

OMG!!! Finally watched the episode last night! OMG!!!
My thoughts:
1. The Fairyland underneath Storybrooke thing- EEK! Suspicion confirmed! I kind of thought this was the case when the coffin at the bottom of the mine didn't look like it was at the bottom of the mine, but in the woods!! So all someone has to do is dig deep enough...literally!

2. I think the Huntsman might be back in flashbacks, as he did give Snow White that whistle if she ever needs help! And the wolf is TOTALLY involved in the final battle- he is the one that started it by keeping Emma in town!

3. Can we now end the "Regina doesn't really know/ Maybe she isn't really evil/ Maybe she is just a little misunderstood" debate? I think it is obvious- she is a bad, bad dude! And she brings her father flowers every Wednesday... does she go back to the old neighborhood every Wednesday? Maybe she has to tweak the old curse?

4. I am still torn on Gold. Watching the pilot episode again, it looked like he was really struggling to get the words out when he was telling Snow White about Emma ending the curse. Almost like he didn't want to tell, but had to since he made the deal. As far as what he was doing in the woods, I almost thought he was burying a dead wolf until the wolf showed up in town again, so I was relieved and forgot about it. Otherwise... maybe he has his own passage back to the old realm? Otherwise why would Regina give him all of the stuff from there that he has- like the dolls and Emma's crib mobile? You would think that she wouldn't want anything that could potentially break the curse or spark a memory in her new kingdom.

At least now we know the Queen knows who she is, so that question is answered and with the preview, I am assuming Gold knows who he is.

Interesting! Well, that could possibly explain why Mr. Gold was digging in the woods, lol. Perhaps he can travel between the two realms as well...

1. I think that Mr Gold is the one "that knows the truth."
---Regina and him both know about FTland, but only Gold knows everything about the curse (he's the one that turned her on to it after all), he knows who Emma is, she has suspicions.

2. I hate that they killed off the most attractive male on the show. Clearly this is a show for women, and we need more hot guys! (Yes I know he'll be around).

3. He's definitely dead in the real world IMO, but I'm sure they can work around that.

4. I couldn't have been the only one that yelled at the TV, "No Gramham, don't tell HER, you idiot!"

5. I want more of Emma's past story and for her to have a real love interest that doesn't die before things get started!

6. I look at Gold as a Puck-type of character with a more sinister and evil twist. He thrives on creating mayhem and enjoys toying with people's lives.

I hadn't seen anyone mention the Lost link so I figured I would!

Mr. Gold may not know everything that's going on but I'm certain her knows some.

Based on his actions in Storybooke

Like when "prince charming" was 'lost' and came into his shop

Based on his talks with people, especially Regina.

Based on what's in his shop (stuff from Fairytale land).

Based on his still wanting/working with babies.

But mostly, based on the fact that he can see the future. One of his many talents.

The opening says "only one knows the truth" but they don't specify WHAT truth.

What we DO know:
(1) EQ/Regina definitely knows who she is in both worlds. I'm pretty sure Regina knows the Storybrooke and fairy tale identities of everyone.

(2) Snow/Mary Margaret, Jiminy/Archie, and the rest of the people of Storybrooke don't remember their fairy tale lives. (Except for poor Sheriff Graham who started to remember and is now dead.)

(3) Somehow Henry (who, so far as we know, did not have a prior life in fairy tale world) thinks he can match up the Storybrooke people with their fairy tale identities

(4) Emma is Snow & Prince Charming's daughter, who escaped the curse via the tree/cabinet

(5) Rumpel/Mr. Gold also knows who he is in both worlds, AND knows the Storybrooke and fairy tale identities of everyone. (I'm guessing this by the things he has in his shop and the things he's said to some of the Storybrooke residents)

(6) Since Rumpel knows that Snow's daughter is named Emma, and Rumpel is the one who told Snow that her daughter would come back to break the curse on her 28th birthday, I'm 99.9% sure that Rumpel knows that Emma IS Snow's daughter.

(7) EQ/Regina doesn't know what happened to Snow's daughter; hence, she doesn't know that Emma is Snow's daughter. I think this is the one fact that Rumple/Gold knows that EQ/Regina doesn't.

So I'm thinking that when the opening says "only one knows the truth" they mean that only Rumple/Gold knows the truth about Emma being Snow's daughter and the one who can break the curse. Regina doesn't know Emma's true identity - she just sees her as competition for Henry (and I guess competition for Sheriff Graham).

Just wanted to add that I don't think Regina knows that Gold remembers his fairy tale identity - she might think he's also affected by the curse like all the other Storybrooke residents. I think she has some suspicions that he might know more than he should, but she's not positive he knows both lives.
