"Once Upon a Dream" 4 Night Dream Cruise 10/16/2011

So sorry to hear this. I second the fruity drinks with umbrellas. I say bring them on!

I cannot believe how close we are to Embarkation Day! I have heard many stories about the Cruise Terminal and how hectic it can be. Does anyone have advice/tips on how to make the embarkation process go smoothly? Aside from patience and a laid back attitude!

Thanks for the tips for Nassau. My family wants to stay on the Ship, but I want to go to the beach!

The positive attitude is a bonus It really isn't that bad. You go check in and then take pics with the characters. That helps kill time. And they also have a place where you can get the armbands for the kids clubs. Who knows you might see one of us in the terminal? Bringing something for the kids to do helps also.

Looks like we are def. going to Junkanoo Beach, as the more I look into it and find more info. the better it sounds. We can walk there and it has restrooms!

Maybe we can all go together then? There is safety in numbers The island is not that big so you really can walk anywhere.

I was reading something about this beach called Goodsons Bay too.

PS. I mailed off my packages. One to the resort. And one to the ship. They were each 9lbs $14.00 each! Not bad! I was thinking it would be much more.

10 more days! I can't wait! We are leaving on the 14th, driving from IL, making one stop in Nashville, dh bought tickets to the Grand Ole Opry. Hope everyone has a safe trip.

I am not too worried. It rains in Florida all the time but usually not very long. It rained on our sail away but it stopped as we were pulling out of Port Canaveral. It's showing as partly sunny for our embark.

Here's our plans for next week:
I ordered Garden Grocer for soda, water, snacks, and some breakfast items. The resort mugs would have cost us $15 x 4. I am more of a water drinker and it would have been a waste for me. My hubby's a diabetic and I need to keep him fed

These our our plans for our trip next week:

Oct 12th arrive at CBR, pick up our groceries, go to our room, rip off our clothes(put on some suits) and swim. Dinner DTD at WPE, movie at CBR?

Oct 13th room breakfast, BBB at noon at DTD, QS lunch (maybe Earl of Sandwich)back to the resort for some naps, swimming? MNSSHP at 4 CRT 5:50PM

Oct 14th room breakfast, off to HS, lunch 12 at Sci Fy, Dinner 5:50 at Cape May

October 15th resort day

October 16th off to the Dream for 4 days
October 19th Claire's bday and Palo at 6
October 20th back from the Dream and off to the MCO Hyatt
October 21st back to reality!

10/15 DTD and pack up for cruise
10/16-20 Dream

10/21-drive home staying over in Virginia

We may swap the 10th and 13th days if it rains heavily.

Oct 21st WDW probably Epcot
