We are not doing MNSSHP. We are driving down on Friday, getting married on Saturday. After the Cruise we are doing two days at Kennedy Space Center. Still undecided if we are driving home Sat or Sun. Kids return to school from fall break Mon.

Wow! That's quite an eventful week for you:banana: I got to see the space shuttle take off when I was at DTD in 2009 but would love to go to the Space Center too. It sounds like a fun place.

We're driving down on the Saturday and staying at the Radisson. After the cruise we will spend two days... somewhere... we haven't decided yet, but we like to do two days somewhere to extend our vacation.

The first cruise we ended up driving back right after we got off the cruise... and that sudden thrust back into reality really sucked...:sad2:

Last year we went to St. Augustine for two days after the cruise and it was a great way to extend the vacation and ease your way back into reality. Our son loved playing in the waves. Then we still had one more day at home before work and school started up.

We got our cruise paid off! :cool1: Except after we did, we had a tire and struts and an alignment done on our van... and a new battery on the car...and our cat needed some vet blls...:scared1:

It's always something, isn't it! :)

April 15th is my window for ADR's. Here is what I have planned so far! I am still holding out for lower airfare. So far the lowest was Southwest at $1175/4 of us non-stop. I probably won't have the cruise paid off til the last minute. All our taxes went towards our Escape for brakes and a new break line.

PS I am still waiting for them to announce free dining for October which hopefully will happen over the summer! I will probably add one TS to that like I did on our trip in 2009. I also want to try to fit Cape May in here somewhere too but I may not have the time!
Here's the list:

October 12-Nathan's hot dogs for lunch at MCO. Probably won't get to POP til 3 so Wolfgang Pucks QS at DTD for dinner
October 13th- Pop breakfast, Kona sushi lunch at Poly, MNSSHP something QS for dinner

October 14th- Breakfast at Starring Rolls HS. Don't know if Fantasmic is showing this day or not but Sci-fi for lunch and Fantasmic dinner at Hollywood and Vine (we might be out of luck because the calendar I have says Fantasmic is on that Thursday which will be the same day as MNSSHP)
If that's the case we will skip H&V

October 15th-Tusker House breakfast at AK, might skip lunch, Flametree BBQ for dinner possibly

October 16th- QS breakfast at PoP and off to our cruise on the Dream!

Oh yuck that weather is supposed to be here at midnight till 7 am. It was beautiful here today but SUPER windy.

Your ADR's look great! Your date is coming up soon! I see Kona sushi lunch on there. Can you order sushi at Kona? I was thinking of heading to Kona for lunch one day and would LOVE some sushi. :)

You are doing two meals I have been trying to get to-Tusker House and Cape May. If you do Cape May will you do breakfast or dinner?

We are also still paying off the cruise! Gotta get that done! But before that we have the National Archery in the Schools NATIONAL FINALS! DS14's school team made the finals and we are going to Kentucky next month!

We are jam packed with kid activities from here until the end of June, plus, DS14 and I are going on a Mission Trip in July so other two kids have to have arrangements made while DF works, and I have to plan a wedding!

Are you doing a Disney wedding or one off site? Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and have fun planning!

Wow, you must have one talented DS!! Good luck at Nationals!

Here's the Kona sushi menu I found on another site. I am not sure if it's seperate or in the restaurant.
http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/menus/wdw/KonaSushiBar.shtml Looks like it's only for dinner.

If we do Cape May it will be on our HS day for dinner.

The Kona sushi bar is only open for dinner. It is located right outside of Kona and serves sushi, as well as anything from the Kona menu. It is like a counter with stools. The sushi looks great, and people love it. There is also sushi on the Kona menu. It is a great spot for a walk up and no ressie.

From what I read it doesn't take the dining plan. So we might have to reconsider that one!

Hi there! I'm new to these boards and new to the Disney Cruise. This will be our 7th trip to WDW, but our first cruise.

It will be me, my husband, my 3 year old DS, my 1 year old DS and my MIL. I'm looking for some info on the best activities on board and off for my family! I'm hoping some of you cruise veterans can help me out!

Thanks!

Welcome aboard!:cutie:

Also my apologies for not being on here much. My schedule is very nutso right now as I am providing child care for 3 different families right now so I have kids here on some days from 7am-7pm! In another week or 2 it will die down but it has been a true blessing as I love having little ones around and it has allowed me to earn enough extra money to use towards our vacation!

Alright, I've been working on itinerary and this is what I have so far!

Oct. 9-arrive at house in Indian Creek
Oct. 10-EPCOT
Oct. 11-MK
Oct. 12- Rest day or meet nephew in Clearwater or HS(depends on if we get 3 or 4 day park tix.)
Oct. 13- AK
Oct. 14-Possibly swim with the Manatees/meet up with nephew in Clearwater
Oct. 15- pack up, relax and hang out at the pool
Oct. 16-20 cruise!!!
Oct. 20- Spend the day at Cocoa Beach or drive home(not sure yet, depends on finances)

We really wanted to do US/IOA and/or Legoland this trip but we've decided to save that for Oct./Nov. 2012!!! Also want to to MNSSHP....but we can't afford to do that and do a few days at the parks, plus I figure in another year or 2 my little guy will be able to stay up later and enjoy it more.

LOL I agree. If I'm going to be stuck someplace I'd rather be at Disney than at home. ;)

Has anyone ever done the Stingray Adventure at Castaway Cay or are you thinking of doing it? It looks neat to me. :goodvibes

My dh, older ds and dd did it in 2009 and loved it. I stayed on the beach with our youngest as he was too young to participate. We chose the 11a.m. time and it worked out perfectly for us.

In this shot my family is on the right in the group and the little one in the orange shirt is my youngest. It was windy and spritzing rain but they still enjoyed themselves.
