Are you doing a Disney wedding or one off site? Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and have fun planning!

Wow, you must have one talented DS!! Good luck at Nationals!

We are getting married offsite. We were doing onboard, but honestly the DFTW planner was not very cooperative with us and for 2500 we wanted cooperation. We found a wonderful place on the beach in Cocoa Beach for much cheaper we are going to go with, so we just moved the wedding day.

My son is pretty good in Archery, and his team is ranked 2nd in the state. This will be our second year in a row going to Nationals! :cool1:

I really like Cocoa Beach. I bet your wedding will be beautiful. :thumbsup2

Wow-two years in a row! I hope his team does well! :cheer2:

Alright, I've been working on itinerary and this is what I have so far!

Oct. 9-arrive at house in Indian Creek
Oct. 10-EPCOT
Oct. 11-MK
Oct. 12- Rest day or meet nephew in Clearwater or HS(depends on if we get 3 or 4 day park tix.)
Oct. 13- AK
Oct. 14-Possibly swim with the Manatees/meet up with nephew in Clearwater
Oct. 15- pack up, relax and hang out at the pool
Oct. 16-20 cruise!!!
Oct. 20- Spend the day at Cocoa Beach or drive home(not sure yet, depends on finances)

We really wanted to do US/IOA and/or Legoland this trip but we've decided to save that for Oct./Nov. 2012!!! Also want to to MNSSHP....but we can't afford to do that and do a few days at the parks, plus I figure in another year or 2 my little guy will be able to stay up later and enjoy it more.

That really looks like a lot of fun. :) Where would you swim with the Manatees? That sounds really neat!

Anyone else tempted by the new destination cruises!! Man if that Hawaii one was when the kids were out of school I would be booking that in a heartbeat.

Sadly, no. We had hoped to do a Med cruise for my DD's graduation next year but changed our minds and made other plans. I am SO glad we did that now.

I'm heading to Minnesota today with 100 high schoolers. :scared1: I'm not looking forward to the 20+ bus ride though.

I'm enjoying reading everyone's ADRs and itineraries. Hopefully, I 'll have mine in place and ready to post sometime after I get back. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Kristen

Even though we are close to NYC it would still be a cheaper for us to fly/drive to Florida and cruise from there and could probably add park days too for the cost! No way I am paying over $5k just to cruise to the Bahamas from NYC :confused3 We'd love to go to Hawaii/Alaska but that's at least 3 years away for us:cutie:

My DH and I would love to go to Hawaii. I am not sure if we would enjoy a 15 day cruise? By the end of a four day we are exhausted :rotfl: We have friends in Hawaii and just might go stay at their house or Aulani. Flights from here to LAX are only a bit more than we would pay to go to MCO. I am sure the cruise costs a arm and a leg. DCL didn't have the prices up on their site yesterday.

I am strongly considering the NY cruise.

OOPS...I typed the wrong price..it's actually over 9k for the 5 of us to do a the 8 nighter from nyc!

I quotes I got are just over 5K but that was inside room with only 4 of us. However I just realized that that is next year . I kept in my mind thinking it was only 2010 and we cruise every 2 years. So now I feel dumb LOL. I was trying to talk DH into it and he just looked at me like I was dumb. We are doing California Disneyland next year.

You are so lucky! I've never been to Cal. DL or even anywhere in the US other than the East coast! Once our youngest is a little older and can tolerate the long flights(and we can save enough $$) we would love to go out to CA and maybe fly out to Hawaii or do an Alaskan cruise. Probably not in our cards for 4-5 more years!;)

Lucky?? My in laws live out there :rotfl2: The plane trip is rough, but the girls handle it well if we split them up and do not sit them next to each other. A layover also helps alot. What is really hard on them is the time difference.

Zoe however is a HUGE cars fan and I have planned my trip to see the in laws with the new CarLand portion.

I REALLY want to do a DL trip. I am envious. ;)

Me! I want to cruise out of Galveston. It's only 6 hours from me so an easy drive. I'd like that New Years cruise but it will have to wait until 2013. We're headed to Washington DC & Williamsburg in 2012.

Hello,
