Once Upon a Christmastime! A Nov. 2010 PTR! *Update 12/12, Disney Blues, pg 61! :( *

I can't believe your ticker says one week and 4 days!!!!!!!!!

LOL, you can't believe it?????? Neither can I!!! I have soooooo much to get done! Still so many little things to buy...gotta get my hair cut...gotta pre order the photopass cd...ahhhhhhhh, can't wait!!!! :cool1: :) :thumbsup2

I can't believe you are at ten days tomorrow.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Me either!!! :cool1:

So is it surprising to anyone that I have no interest in going to work for the next 7 days? :rotfl: Seriously, I'm so done with my job right now, I just want to get to Disney!!!! :rotfl2:

Good morning! I just completed online check in!!! :cool1:  :woohoo: 10 DAYS!!!

Unfortunately, if you read my earlier response to Joni, you will know I'm having dental issues again. :sad1: One of my teeth on the bottom right side hurts a lot when I try to chew or drink anything cold, so I have to go to the dentist today before work to find out what's going on. I hope there is something simple they can do before my trip, because I really don't feel like being in a lot of pain when I'm there! Ughhh, this HAD to happen now! :sad2:

Anyway, since I have some time this morning before I go to the dentist, I figured I'd do another itinerary day!

Day 6, Wednesday 11/17

Another day we have to get up early! Gotta jump right out of bed and head to

for our breakfast ADR here

We loved Crystal Palace so much last year, so we wanted to do it again this trip! I'm hoping to get a picture with Eeyore this time, we didn't feel like waiting for him, so we ended up leaving before he got to our table!

We're also looking forward to seeing an empty MK when we go in, maybe we will get another picture like this

After CP, not sure what we will do! Maybe spend some time in Fantasyland where I can go on some things I've never been on (or don't remember!)

(not sure about the tea cups so soon after breakfast...we'll see!!)

and some old favorites

Brandon says he refuses to ride IASW...I admit, it can get kind of annoying, but at the same time, it's a classic Disney ride and I need to go on at least once!

After MK, we will go back to POR and rest or swim for a while

USDisneysPortOrleansRiverside61.jpg

and then we will go to Animal Kingdom evening magic hours!

I'm so excited about being here at night! I cannot WAIT to ride this when it gets dark

:cool1:

After AK, we will go to DTD for a while for our dinner ADR here

I'm looking forward to finally trying Fulton's, Brandon has wanted to ever since he's known about it, but we just never go for some reason!

After our dinner, we will probably just wander around and maybe do some shopping

and then head back to POR!

The end of Day 6! By this time, I will be getting really upset at the thought of going home, but I will try to enjoy my last 2 days and not ruin them by crying! :rotfl2:

Have a great Tuesday! Wish me luck at the dentist! :sad1:

Look at you -- updating machine! ;)

Hooray for online check in today. :)

Love your Day 6 plans. We love CP -- it is our favorite; and you have to ride Dumbo -- Grumpy says so.

And you guys are going to absolutely love Fulton's.

I'm wishing you good luck at the dentist. Our youngest son went last week because his front tooth was hurting. Unfortunately, he has an infection and they gave him vicodin and an antibiotic and on Thursday he is having a root canal/crown done. I'm hoping yours is more minor than that.

I love doing the day by day itinerary...and I'm running out of time with this PTR so I'm trying to get in as many updates as possible! By this weekend, expect just random updates like "I'm making mousekeeping envelopes!" Or "I'm leaving in 5 days..."things like that! :rotfl:

I will definitely ride Dumbo if Grumpy says I have to! :rotfl2: I can't wait for Fulton's!

Ugh, I honestly wish I had the problem your son has with the dentist. I went today and the dentist seemed baffled as to why I would be having pain...he said that I probably fractured it, but it's not showing up on the x-ray, and there's no infection, so it seemed like he just didn't know what to tell me. :confused3 So I told him how I was going away next week and I don't want any pain when I'm there, and he said I could try a temporary crown, so I said yeah fine, whatever...then he all the sudden changed it to a permanent crown, when 10 minutes before he was telling me not to bother with a crown. Who knows?

So I was upset when I left, told Brandon, and he said no way am I spending $1000 on a crown when it might not even fix the problem and I should get a 2nd opinion, so he called his family dentist and got me an appointment there for tomorrow at 3. Apparently when he made me the appointment he told the receptionist what my dentist said and she said that's all wrong, never cover up something that is giving you pain without knowing why, so I don't know...I just hope someone can figure it out! Preferably before next Friday. I've been going to my dentist for almost 3 years now and I've always had a weird feeling that he didn't know what he was doing, but I just couldn't tell why, since I know nothing about dentistry...:rotfl: It just seems like all he is interested in is money, and that aggravates me. So I'm glad I'm going somewhere different, and if this guy can help me, I'm just gonna switch dentists all together. Not exactly what I feel like dealing with 10 days before Disney, though.

I definitely think a NEW dentist is in order. I hate to say it but I think yours is "just in it for the money" and not too sharp. I have been going to the same dentist for 17 years and I absolutely love him. However, he has been sick off and on with surgeries the last year and a half and brought in a new guy and I don't like him at all. Since "my dentist" is on a very limited schedule, we have decided to go elsewhere. I think Brandon is right...and I'm glad you are going to his dentist.

Yeah, I think so too...I always thought it was weird that he NEVER recommended I go to an oral surgeon, he always did everything himself...ripped out my 2 broken wisdom teeth, did my 2 root canals, and now one is messed up 10 days before my vacation...the 2nd root canal he did, I didn't even want, I just wanted to pull the tooth (it's the last tooth in my mouth, and broken in half) and he insisted I do a root canal, and it was AWFUL. Ever since then I have wanted to find a new dentist but I just never knew where to go, so now I'm glad I really have a reason. It's too bad, because I LOVE my hygienist, but I can't stay there just for her. :confused3

Off topic...but where in Chicago are you?

At this exact moment, or where do I live? :lmao: At this exact moment, I'm in Lincoln Park at work (yay night shift :headache:), but I live on the north side, in Albany Park. So I'm actually in the city, not in a suburb :)

I meant where you live. ;)

I know the area -- my husband grew up at Irving and Western and we were in the City last week in the Wrigley area.

I actually went to school at Addison and Western :) I like living in Chicago, but I really ideally want to move back to Orlando at some point, unless something happens to keep me here in IL.

Lane Tech? Our arch rival. We had to move out of the city when the kids were young -- too many gangs, crime and nbot good schools. We love our suburb, but as soon as Mark turns 62 (four more years) and our last one is settled, it's off to Florida we will go (can't handle these winters anymore).

Yep, Lane Tech. I had friends who still got lost when we were seniors, but I got used to the building fairly quickly. I'm usually pretty good with directions :lmao: I hope to move back to Florida by the time I turn 30 (I'm currently 26), unless something happens to keep me here. I loved living in Orlando :)

I went to Schurz (as did my mother). My husband went to St. Benedict (where we were also married).

Well, I guess we should get back to the TR here. ;)

My mom went to Schurz, my dad went somewhere else that I don't remember. I'm the only one in my family to go to Lane :confused3

Probably :teeth:

Guess what?

I hit single digits today! 9 DAYS TIL MY TRIP!!!!!

:cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :woohoo: :banana: party::jumping1:

I can't wait!
