Onboard account mishap - surprise to longtime DISer

It would have been better, but I think she knows that and doesn't need a bunch of people on the internet monday morning quarterbacking it - what good will it do except to allow people to feel superior?

I was responding to another post not the OP's and also to others who said she was a helicopter parent, which I didn't agree with. I also said that her son sounded like he was being responsible. So I wasn't "feeling superior".

I love the DIS and there is so much good about it. But this thread is also what can be bad about the DIS and other forums. Sometimes the best thing we can do is not give our "Expert" opinion over a social media forum site.
