We are currently in deluxe ocean view w/verandah. If we went to a fmly cabin then all four of us would have our own bed (possibly). Right now either myself or MIL will have to share a bed with one of the kids as they have negotiated two nights each on the top bunk! LOL

I would upgrade in your case because you are gaining a larger room, in our case the room becomes smaller and we gain a balcony. I would do it in a minute if it was to the family cabin with a balcony.
