Wilderness, I hope you are catching a nap today to make up for some of that lost sleep over the weekend. Don't know how you can work those hours but God bless you for all that you do at work.
Hopefully today you'll get some of your energy back and can concentrate on meals that are OP.
i understand how hard it is to stay OP when you are that sleep deprived. Carbs/sugar give you burst of energy. I know that after a good night's sleep, you'll be back OP. Have a good workout, and get some sleep sweetie!
Ok not only did I not make it to the gym but I have eaten crap all day. I will be OP tomorrow. I just needed that boost today and didn't have the energy to make anything healthy!
I know you are going to be OP tomorrow. Write a menu in advance - I cannot tell you how this has helped me! And I plan to form a habit of planning my menus a week in advance. It means more grocery shopping but in the end it is worth it. Write down just one day so that you don't have to think about what you are going to eat. I keep my menus on the fridge so all I have to do is look at it and grab what I need.
Thanks Amanda. That really is a good idea. I am going to try it for awhile. I am mad at myself that I slipped the last few days and worse I just didn't care! Bad habits are hard to break I suppose. I am going to drop my son off at school, go workout and then shop. I'll be back later.
I think we all go through days like that! (I know I certainly have!!!) I think Amanda's idea of planning out a menu is a great idea to help all of us get back on track. She is having a lot of success with it and it makes a lot of sense. (Great job, Amanda! )
As for the exercise, I know you will be able to get back into the groove soon. I think it can sometimes be harder to stay on track with exercise during the winter because of the adverse weather conditions. I don't know about you, but I can't wait for spring!!! I love taking my exercise outdoors and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Wow what a difficult working schedule! I'm sorry you missed out on so much needed sleep. Your son's first basket must have been a nice warm cozy moment! Thank God for those moments!!!!!! I hope your schedule settles down and you can be your usual positive self No need to apologize for venting-- you certainly deserved it
Hi Wilderness - I'm sorry your not feeling well. Try and take it easy and don't worry about not being OP. Once your back to yourself, you'll get right back at it. Hope you feel better soon.
