On the way to get my cherry sprite, I got to thinkin'

My radio stations love me today. They played some of my most favorite songs when I went to get my lunch. I love it when they do that! Of course, when I'm by myself, I like to sing with my songs (I'm tone deaf ). I noticed something. Either people were looking at me trying to figure out why I was singing or they were checking out my truck trying to figure out what the heck it was (they had that perplexed look on their face ). It got me to thinkin' (I know, dangerous thing to do). If I see someone singing in their vehicle, I automatically think they have a screw loose (unless I can hear the music, and I like the song, then I think they're cool ). Now, if I do it, there's nothing wrong with me, I'm just listening to some good music. I hope you all understand that.

What do you think when you see people singing when they're in their vehicles?

I'm wonderin' what station they are listening to because all I can pick up are commercials

They probably think you're talking to yourself! Or to someone in the car too small to see.

I'm the same way, Shannon. I can't sing for beans even though it's fun. So I just sing in the car when I'm driving alone. To heck with the stares!

I sing along too but the weirdest looks I get are when I am traveling on the road and listening to a comedy cd. I like to listen to Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall to break up my long road trips and I KNOW people see a woman by herself in a car, driving down the road, laughing hysterically and just wonder.....

JJ, I just keep on a truckin'.

DD, I was listening to 2 different stations. One would play a commercial or a dud, then I'd switch to the other. When I got to Sonic, they were playing my dd's favorite song on the speakers (Chapel of Love). I sung to that while I waited for my drink.
