On-Site Perks

What are the perks for staying on-site at Universal. I know about "Universal Express." Does staying on-site help you get restaurant reservations or anything else?

Yes--you also get "next available seating" at the restaurants at the parks and City Walk (except for Emeril's). Go to the Loew's Hotel website and sign up for the Loew's First program. You can get a welcome gift and accumulate points for upgrades.

You get on-site charging privileges. You can have shopping packages sent right to your room. You get to stay as close as possible to the parks! East transportaion to the parks.

How does "next available seating" work?

it's restaurant fotl - you get the next available table, regardless of how many people are waiting in front of you. I've read posts from people who describe lines wrapped around the building, and they get seated within a few minutes. My sil said one restaurant had over an hour wait, and they were seated in about 10 minutes.

Yep, good pt. We walked up to Pastamore, there was a huge line. I showed my room key for PS, she said still a good 40min as most of the people in line were hotel guests too! We went to Jakes at RPR.
