On site guest parking

Just for fun go to disneymeetings.com. There you can clearly see that you can host an event and then a special theme park event. Further you can plan and book a theme park event to coincide with a conference. No where in the packet does it state that all guests that were attending the conference need to leave the resort hotel and re-park at the TTC.

Strange. I've had people participate in day meetings/workshops and they have been told that if they intend to go to a park, they must move their cars. If, on the other hand, a special theme park event was part of their dat/evening, cars could remain.
But basically, if you're participating in a workshop, you aren't in a park. Conversely, if you're in a park, you aren't in a workshop.....usually. If you aren't in that workshop, you are no longer a resort guest.

You can argue this until the cows come home. Most of us here fully realize what Disney means in their signage. You have a different view. Fine. Have at it. I'm just glad all conventioneers don't feel the same way....otherwise BW, BC/YC and the CR would have no available for their 'over-night' guests.

Let's move in. Otherwise, we are done here.

Well, this is certainly an entertaining thread!

I always thought the towing was a Disney urban legend. Last year at the Poly, I saw multiple cars being towed. True, they may have had mechanical issues, but I still don't want to risk part of my vacation chasing down my rental car.

Did anyone notice if the cars being towed were legally parked, excluding resort policies? In other words were the cars improperly parked in a handicap spot or in a fire lane?

The cars I saw being towed from the CR lot were parked in regular (otherwise legal) spots.

I saw the same thing. Two trucks were there the last time with the CM walking he parking pointing to the cars to be towed. She had a clipboard and was looking in the drivers area as well.

Back to this later...had to edit and now people here.
