On site/Express Pass questions

Just want to make sure I understand how it all works. I will be staying at RPR so I automatically get the Unlimited Express pass? Does it matter where I buy my US tickets - do I have to buy them through US or can I get them from a discount site?

What exactly IS the Express Pass - a card? a Lanyard?

We stayed at RPR in April. Yes, you do get an express pass. It's a little card that you print out after you check in. You show it when you get in line for the ride. There is a separate line for EP users and it is clearly marked. You can use it on most regular rides but not in the HP areas. I don't recall which others you cannot use it for hut there aren't many. Have fun!!

Doesn't matter where you buy your Universal park tickets.....staying at RPR, PBH and HRH you will get EP. Card is size of room key and will fit in your lanyard.

Not valid for Gringotts or FJ in Potter areas, but you can use it on Duelling Dragons and Hippogriff ride in those areas if you wish......

Express pass is a card that you print out at the Kiosk in the lobby.It has your photo on it and the dates it is valid. You present it at the express line for each attraction/show. It is NOT good on : Gringotts,Forbidden Journey, Ollivanders,Hogwarts express , Pteranodon flyers, Kang and Kodas Twirl and Hurl .It is good on anything else

PPs are all correct. Its a little card printed on card stock with your photo. You will print it yourself from your resort's lobby at a self-service kiosk. Took about 2 minutes. Your tickets don't matter - it's all based on where you are staying. Enjoy!

One other question...DH and I going early December, staying at RPR so we will both print out a card in the lobby, correct? When we use it in the park will we both need to show the card or will they let us in with one....DH hates to wear a lanyard and I always have to carry his ticket and things in mine so need to know if I have to take them out each time to show both...

You'll need to show BOTH express passes each time.
