On-Site Car Return Place at WDW?

I've heard rumblings that there is a place in WDW that you can return your rental car. I'm pretty sure that it is only for National. With Alamo taking over, is this still going to be there (if it is there to begin with)? Needless to say I'm not to happy about the things that I've been reading about Alamo.
There is a possibility that I might need to fly into Tampa, as my girlfirend might be presenting at physical therapy conference. this would mean driving to orlando and a headached that I really don't want.
of couse if we fly directly into mco, i'd just use tiffany. those people rock!!!

National has two locations within WDW - the Car Care Center (near the MK) and the Dolphin Hotel. You can definitely return cars at the CCC and I'm reasonably certain that you can also drop off cars at the Dolphin location. You should call to verify, however. You can find Telephone numbers on National's web site. When we dropped off a van at the CCC last December, National had a complimentary shuttle which took us back to our resort.

IIRC, someone posted that Alamo is also at the CCC. (I'd recommend that you call to verify that as well). If so, this is a recent addition due to the changes made after the parent company declared bankruptcy. Apparently, Alamo will be targeted to the leisure trade and National to the business customers.
