Isn't technology wonderful? Posting from the ME bus on the way back to MCO.
It took us 2.5 hours from MCO-to All Stars-to the Magic Kingdom, not bad at all. There are plenty of CM at the airport to help, but there were a lot of people using the service last Sunday when we arrived.
Now, the return trip. We were getting to the bus stop right as our 6:40p ME express pulled away. We were 4 minutes late, our fault. CM tells us to usethe house phone and press the "Mears" button. The Mears rep couldn't have been less helpful or more rude. She told us that since we missed our reservation, we'd need to pay MEARS for the return trip or get a TAXI. I said thanks and hung up.
Turns out the 6:40p bus we saw pull away was a drop off only. There was another family waiting to go back to MCO on the 6:40p bus that didn't show until 7:05. Fine with me, I think there will be plenty of time since we have our boarding passes and did the airline resort check-in with our bags.
Anyway, I decided the less said the better to the ME bus driver and everything was fine.
Enroute to MCO, but I can't help but wonder how the Disney execs would feel about the rude customer service from MEARS ------OR----- that a Dreamworks DVD with Dreamworks Trailers is presently being played on our bus.
I think it is very nice of Disney to showcase Dreamwork's animations (in this case, Sinbad). I've seen plenty of Disney stuff this week.
