on phone with MS right now, my 1st ressie not going well

We are new DVC members, so right now I am trying to make my 1st ressie and it is not going well. Trying to reserve two value studios for next fall. Apparently, you have to reserve the rooms separately?? I Didn't know this....The 1st room went fine, with the 2nd room the MS rep had enough computer problems that he had to transfer me to someone else and I have been on hold now for close to 10 mins... Also I didn't know you had to have the addresses of each person staying in the room, well I am at my folks house right now, so I don't have my address book with me, luckily I had my ILs address memorized, but I am pretty sure I gave MS the wrong zip code....

Yes, each room is a separate reservation. I'm sorry you are having problems with MS. It is not the norm, but computer problems are not uncommon for them, either.

Good luck with your reservations. If you are one of the unfortunate that hits a computer glitch, I know it can be frustrating.

The name and address policy started about 2 years ago, after one of the system upgrades. You can call back or email them the information if you don't have it handy, after they've made the reservation.

In many instances, we don't have all of the info for those we are traveling with when I make the reservations (in some cases we have not even determined who will be going with us). MS will still make the reservation and just requests that when we determine who is going that we call and give them the info.

I made a reservation for my brother and some friends of his for last Sat for Food and Wine. He changed the couple going twice on me. Just updated with a call to MS.
