We are going the 15th to 20th of November. My 90 day window opens up at midnight this coming Sunday. I have been playing around with the on-line reservation system but can't seem to get any kind of a 10 day window which I thought is what I would get if I'm going.

I have read multiple times on here the on-line system is pretty messed up and inconsistent. I'm pretty computer literate and have even selected "Do you have a Resort reservation for the same days for which you're making dining reservations? If so, please retrieve your reservation. "

Am I missing something or will it give me my 10 day window once my 90 point has come?

Thanks all, I've learned a ton on these boards.

Dave

1) I think it only gives the 90+10 when you put in your reservation number...assuming that you are at the 90 day or less mark for your reservation. So, Monday morning for you.

2) I have a follow-up question for the DVC experts. I'm renting points for November and also have my 90-day window approaching. My plan is to get up at 5am (CST) to make online ADR's. Does the online ADR handle DVC reservation numbers okay, or will I end up just having to call in at 6am?

I just booked my dining yesterday. I had the same thoughts as you. On your 90 day the 10 day window will open up after you have retrieved your resort ressie.

I didn't have any problems with the online system pulling up my dvc reservation.

That's correct. You shouldn't be able to see anything different now as your 90-day window has not arrived yet. Once you are at 90 days and your reservation number is entered, you should have full access to the 10-day period following your arrival date.

Worked flawlessly for me a few weeks back...even with a split stay. Got reservations within 10 minutes of desired time at each location.

Good luck.

So this means that hundreds/thousands of people whose reservations started in the last 8-9 days have already been able to make ADRs for 11/15???

I guess I'll be out of luck for my hoped-for birthday dinner -- sounds like one needs to plan a special event for the end of a trip, rather than the beginning :sad2: :sad2:

:) I was able to book all of our ressies---even the really special ones to us. I was able to book WCC before MNSSHP on 10/31, Ca Grill, Brown Derby and Coral Reef at 6:00 p.m. for my birthday. Hopefully yours will fall into place. I was really amazed and it took half the time. Like you I was in a panic (it just sounds like you are psyched and anxious like I was). The morning of my 90 day the system was completely down:scared1: and didn't come up until later that afternoon....still got what I wanted. Best of Luck and let us know how it goes.

I was able to get everything I wanted a couple days ago. Only one ressie was a little later than I wanted, but not much. I think you might be surprised. I was definately worried, but booking online went pretty smooth.

I just made two ADR's yesterday. for Sept. 6 & 9. This is only 21 days away and I had no problem. One was for The Wave(dinner on the 6th) and the other was for breakfast at Boma on the 9th. I know this week is not as busy, but I wanted to let folks know that you can get ADR's without having to book that far out. :goodvibes

Do you go through the DVC website or general disney to pull up your reservation? We have one coming up well within 90 days and I cannot figure out how to access it either way. I'd love to be able to make dining reservations online rather than calling each time. Thanks.

You go to the disney website. Go under Booking dining reservations. When search for a restaraunt it has a link under it to book reservation. It then loads the booking page. When that pulls up there is a link to retrieve your reservation, you want to do that. After it pulls up your ressie info, then you put in your info for the dining ressie. Hope that makes since. When it is your 90 day window the +10 will show up then.

Okay to add another question if anyone knows....what about a group staying in different rooms with different reservation numbers...do I need to call ahead and get a grand gathering number?

All day I've been trying what you suggested through the disney website and keep getting a message that they can't pull up the reservation. That's why I wondered if you need to go through the DVC website - although I saw no logical link there. Anyway, I've confirmed that everything is okay with the reservation and sent their "help" people an e-mail. In the meantime, I'll just keep doing it the "old fashioned" way on the phone...

At what point are you putting in your reservation number? I know when I tried to just pull up reservation under my disney vacation it would not work. But when I went into the online disney dining section it worked. This is after I click book a reservation for a particular restaraunt. The link for retrieve ressie will show up. I'm sorry you are having difficulties.

My experience = yes.

Ressies at the beginning of your trip will be harder/more picked over.

Le Cellier...if you want a perfect Le Cellier reservation, try to book it at the end of a long stay.

So...going to be there a week? At the 90-day mark, try to get a Le Cellier ressie right at the end.

I just tried to get one (at the 90-day mark within the first 5 minutes of phone lines being on) for the arrival day of our trip and all dinner slots were already gone.
