on june 14th i will ride the TOT alone!

so i'm taking my mom to DW and we'll get down there 6/13. on the 14th we'll go to Disney MGM but my mother said she will not ride the TOT again! too scary for her. so it looks like i'll be riding it by myself. anyone ever rode it by themselves.

No, and as much as I love thrill rides, riding by myself would be totally different. At least with Tot, you will probably be sitting with someone, even if they are a total stranger. Something like RNRC, you would be more likely to actually be sitting by yourself. Are you nervous? If you were going in Oct. I'd ride with you. Hey, there's always the possiblity of finding a DISer and riding with them. Have fun

I have ridden it by myself, cuz my DH was too chicken. I quite often ride rides myself because of that. It is a little boring standing in line by yourself, but you do have the added benefit of being in the single rider line (don't think they have one on TOT however)

I usually only ride thrill rides when the lines are very short since I will be in line myself.

I rode it by myself the first time I rode it in Feb.

I was so nervous! There was a nice man next to me, who was also riding by himself. (We were both doing the baby swap thing.) He had ridden it for the first time the day before, so he talked me through the ride. It helped so much having someone there to talk to, and warn me of what was coming next.

A few years ago when my sons were too little to go on it (we can't get them off of it now that they are tall enough) my husband and I both had to ride it alone.
We are getting used to doing the thrill rides alone, we love thrill rides. So everytime we go to Six Flags (Chicago) we have to ride all the rides ourselves until our children get tall enough to ride the rides with us...hopefully only one more year!!!

At first you feel weird but then you just get used to it
