?? on getting AAA discount at Universal hotels

Hi,
I have been trying to get the AAA discount at a Universal hotel, probably Royal Pacific. No matter what website I use, I am not able to do so. I tried the AAA site and the hotelreservations.com site and I see it available, but when I click on it, I get a higher rate. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Or am I just trying too early? I feel like such a dope.

did you try booking directly thru your local AAA website link or calling office to speak to a AAA TA?

The easier way to determine rates is just to calls loews and see what is available.

I am a Universal newbie, but I called directly yesterday and was quoted a AAA rate of $167 something for RPH for Oct. 1-5. Since we are staying four nights, it was cheaper to book the Stay Four, Play Free package and buy an extra ticket ($85 special) for DD. The number is 1-888-273-1311. The lady with whom I spoke was very friendly and willing to give me various prices. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I stopped in person to our local AAA office, and the woman told me that I'd have to book more than 1 night for them to book for me. I tried the AAA website and that didn't work. We wanted to stay the night of June 14. I didn't think of using the phone! Duh. I guess I get hooked on doing something online and I forget about the telephone.
