On EMH and Fantasmic

I'm heading to Orlando with a large family group (20+) this weekend but staying off park so I won't have access to EMH. One of the recommendations I saw was to do the second showing of Fantasmic instead of the first (on Monday night) but I just realized that that showing is actually during EMH.

My question - I don't want to improperly take advantage of EMH, but if we get in line for Fantasmic's 8:30 show at 7:50 (park closes at 8) are we breaking the rules? Is Fantasmic part of EMH? If not I probably won't do HS that day - but its the only day during our trip w/ a second showing.

Thanks for any help/suggestions!

I was there in early January and stayed on site, so I had access to EMH. We went on a Monday to catch the second showing of Fantasmic, and they didn't check/scan people's MB's or cards like they usually do. However, don't plan on going on rides after the show, because they do scan/ check MagicBands and cards.

My only concern is if they'd let you in at 7:50 if the park closes at 8.

Sounds like I should just talk to a CM prior to the first show - to make sure it won't be a problem.

It won't be a problem as that is typical scheduling for Fantasmic and the 2nd show is for all guests: regular and EMH.

You can ride a last ride at 8:00 and then go to the Fantasmic amphitheater.
