I talked to my t/a this morning and they said they wouldn't know if I get the Disney $50 on board credit until I checked in on the ship. Is this how it works? I will have paid for my whole cruise with my Disney Visa.

True, an onboard credit does not show up on your confirmation. It is handled "in the background" according to DCL. I've never had any problem with it though. THey used to place a notice in your stateroom so it was there on boarding. On the 2/7 cruise, it wasn't in my stateroom, so I went to guest services--it was on their computer, and they said they had discontinued the "on boarding" notice, but that a notice would come to my stateroom later.

My suggestion would be that after you board, when you have a few minutes (this isn't urgent) that you stop by guest services and make sure it's on your account. If it isn't, they have to send a "research" thing to Celebration to clear it up...and that can take a couple days.

Not true your travel agent should be able to call Dcl and see if the credit has been applied to your acount...
U maybe able to do this sometimes a nice Castmember will give u that info...

Disney's Visa offers a $50 credit for any cruise sailing now through 12/30/04. Receive a $50 onboard credit when you or your travel agent book a Disney Cruise Line vacation with your Disney's Visa card.

Other discounts do not apply; not combinable with any other onboard credit offers. The onboard credit is per stateroom for each stateroom occupied by an adult Disney's Visa card cardholder. Credit good toward merchandise, spa treatments, shore excursions and other onboard activities. Any unused portions are non-refundable and non-transferable

I would also make sure you bring all documentation with you to show that you paid with the Disney Visa and a printout of the offer. Just in case.
