Hi all,

Questions regarding DVC point discount when you book on board.

1. Do you have to make ressies on board?
2. We returned on the 22nd did we miss the window to book?
3. How good is the discount, should I call MS tomorrow?
4. Do you have to book within the 11 month window?

Planning on going again April 2005.

Thank you.

we were on the magic in December and wanted to rebook for the same week while on board, we could not because it was not within out 11 month window, I waited the three weeks and booked 11 months to the day and I got no discount.

Someone on the DVC board posted that you can now book the cruise 14 months out, but you have to book it through MS within 3 days of getting off the ship :( . You can always try, though. My dh fought hard last year when we booked our cruise (after getting off the ship) and ended up getting the $200 stateboard credit. It is certainly worth a try. He did have to speak to a supervisor (and be very courteous) - also explained how wishy-washy the DVC/DCL policy is since not even the DVC staff onboard know the actual policy. Definitely try. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
