On a search for a healthier me.

I haven't drinken soda in two weeks.
I'm totally obsessed with tea and water.

I tried getting into green tea, but boy, that's just nasty!


BUT GUESS WHAT!
I gained four pounds. :headache:

And my sister and mother think I'm getting fat.
I'm not getting fat.
Just pissed off.

It's probably water weight. If not, not everyone loses weight by not drinking soda. Have you been eating healthy and exercising as well?

He bought brownies, cookies, cookie dough, ice cream, cinnabons, cake, and CHIPS.

I'm just mad.
And yesterday MORNING, I was 107.1.
I just checked my weight a few hours ago, and it said 111.2.

But my parents keep buying all this junk.

I seriously started screaming at my dad yesterday.
He bought brownies, cookies, cookie dough, ice cream, cinnabons, cake, and CHIPS.

I'm just mad.
And yesterday MORNING, I was 107.1.
I just checked my weight a few hours ago, and it said 111.2.

Do you have healthy snacks in your house?
Go to the supermarket with your family and put in healthy snacks in the cart, or make a list for your family to pick up.
You have to resist the temptation of eating the junk food.

Dont pay attention to that. Your weight will bounce.

And my parents are always like, "We can't spend money on that stuff! We don't need it!"

And then they go buy five packs of ding-dongs.
And twinkies, and just a bunch of crap.

And no, we don't have any healthy food.
I don't know why.
Sometimes we buy fruits or vegetables, but I always eat them all.

Sometimes we buy fruits or vegetables, but I always eat them all.

Go to the supermarket with them and tell them you want to try it.
If your parents say no, then save up your allowance or birthday money or whatever and purchase the healthy foods yourself.
If you cant or dont want to do that, just exercise. Keep up with your exercise, drink water, etc.
 
It took me like a month before I lost any weight, so I wouldn't worry about it. I know it's really frustrating though.
And exercise is so great, it'll give you results faster if you eat healthier and exercise.

I know it pretty much sucks when nobody else in your house is getting what you want but you have to tell them you want to try it or explain to them if they could trade in some of the other foods for more healthier foods you will all eat.
We have TONS of chocolate, but I just have to steer clear. It's not easy, but you have to do it.
And my mom is able to get all these lean cuisines and pre cooked vegetables and things with coupons. Maybe look some up and print them out for your mom and she'll be more willing to buy them?

Yesterday I exercised like crazy and I was exhausted. :faint:
But I feel awesome right now. :D
I exercise when I get bored...which I guess would be a good thing.
I was afraid I wouldn't get my minutes in for this month but I will!

ETA: I just tried on my fives and I got them to button!!!
Wooooh.
Even though they're kinda tight, they fit!
Just a few more pounds and they'll be great!

Try to ignore the junk or eat in moderation. If you procrastinate and chose healthier maybe they'll see it but if you keep eating it I'm assuming that they think you actually like it and will keep getting more.

Your weight fluctuates throughout the day so you should probably weigh yourself at the same time every day...but don't weigh yourself all the time, you'll just end up getting stressed out.
 
Okay, so how much exercise is too much?

I've been reading up on it, and I've exercised a lot this Christmas break, but I don't want to overdo it.
It says about an hour a day, but I know I do about 3-3 1/2 hours throughout the day with yoga, pilates, wii fit and this cardio video.
I don't want to get addicted to it, and I don't think I am, but I don't want to wear myself out.
I do it when I'm bored and because it's fun and makes me feel good.
Plus for obvious reasons like health, but is that too much?

My mom wants me to eat healthier because of a minor health problem. I guess I should make a list for her of what to get the next time she goes food shopping.

I really don't have a goal I want to reach. I just want to feel good.

I think thats a really good goal! I think its better to go by how you feel about yourself then the numbers on the scale.


Okay I need some motivation to get off my lazy butt and go for a jog.
 
so i got a wii fit for christmas...and it says i've gained a pound which i'm praying is muscle...My body looks so much better though and i've only played for one week. I've lost quite a bit of my flab and now its still there but firmish...and my love handles are gone!
 
Don't take that wii fit seriously when it tells you what you've lost or gained.
Seriously, it's completely off on my weight and how much I've lost.

It'll tell me I gained 5 pounds when really I didn't gain anything.
It tells me my weight is actually 5 pounds lighter than I am.
It's crazy stuff, and I just do it so I can get a stamp. xP

I've done bad yesterday, but that's okay.
I got 2 more videos (Though one is just an easier version of a pilates I have) and I'll be back on it today...though I better hurry since it's almost noon.

I love exercise, it makes me feeling powerful. Although I kinda get discouraged when I go shopping because at home I think I look great but when I get to the store all these things won't fit me and I just feel horrible. -_-

My exercise new years resolution is to exercise at least everyday.
 
thats what mine is too...

I would be doing more exersizes today but i have driving lessons!! As i did yesterday too. I'm going on the freeway today...I'm nervous
 
So i did wii fit for 58 minutes (actual exersize time)
weight is up again!!! but i ate right before i weighed myself.
my arms feel tighter.
 
I hate the holidays. I always gain weight from stuffing my face with sweets.

My weight keeps going up and down. It's freaking me out, actually.

I realized I don't want to lose weight. I just want to firm up my stomach and lose the (icky!) flab on my legs. I can also sense love handles coming. Yikes!

If I did just that, I will be totally happy.
It's my NYR. :)

yeah i weigh more then like i should so its easier for me to lose weight then say someoen who is my height and 120 or 130...

I hate when i'm on a weight roller coaster...
 
How did the driving go?

I did this new walk, sclupt and tone video.
60 minutes, and it was actually really fun.

I'm asking for a hula hoop for my birthday that way I can hula if I don't have time for the wii. Lol.
