On a search for a healthier me.

I was gonna go swimming today, but it started raining :sad1:
I did do some exercises with some weights and boy do I feel the burn! :rotfl:
I also tried my Walk Away the Pounds dvd last night and I love it! I only did the mile walk, but time passed very quickly and I could feel that it was working (I had my doubts if it would work or not). I'm gonna do the 1 mile walk again here in a few minutes. :)

What is the walk away the pounds? Like do you just walk and stuff? I know my mom isn't going to be all hunky dory for getting me any new videos...

But Tae Bo works!! I have my moms old videos from the early 90's...And it actualy made me sweat...and i never sweat

Yeah, pretty much. The person who does it is great and time passes very quickly. I've heard a lot of people say they've had success using them, so I'm trying it out. They have different dvds for different lengths - 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles & 4 miles (they probably go higher than that, but I'm not sure). There are also different moves you do while walking, but they aren't complicated. The dvd I bought has 5 work-outs on it (all walking, 1 & 2 miles at various paces), and it was $15 from Target.

I'm really not good at explaining it, but there are samples of the videos on Youtube to give you an idea about what you do. You can also try searching on google or something to find out more about it.

i went swimming yesterday for about 3 hours and today for about an hour.
but tonight i am going swimming at my friends house for about like 2 hours:)

i am so happy.

my mom also went to this chocolate testing and there is this chocolate that has this thing in it.and this guy lost 15 pounds from eating 3 a day,but i don't know how long he was eating them.

You're welcome. Glad it helped :D They're great for days that I don't really feel like doing anything (like running), so I just put one on and before I know it I've walked a mile (or two)! The one mile walk takes 18 minutes and the 2 mile walk takes 30. And as I said, time passes by VERY quickly. They're nicely done.

As far as the dvds go, for how much you get on one dvd they're very much worth the price (in my opinion). They didn't have a large selection at the Target I went to, but I went to Barnes & Noble the other day and they had a TON of Walk Away the Pounds dvds. I'll probably go back there once I have more money :rotfl:

O.K.
I have a problem. I can't stick to anything I do and it really upsets me! I am 16 years old, I am 5ft7 and I weigh 170. THERE I SAID IT.:lmao: And the truth is that I don't want to be. During the last semester of my sophomore year I took an Individual Sports class that had me running up to two miles every other day, and I HAD to stick with it for my grade. Now that it is summer I have really just been lax about exercising. I think that the only way I stick with something is if I HAVE to or else I quit. I want to loose 20 pounds by our trip in Sept. I have a treadmill but I can never find the right time to do it. I am wanting to start running with my dog starting Monday for and hour I and I got to the pool for two hours three times a week. I have a problem with hunger control and portion control, I just like food I guess. Just wanted to join for the support, I will start reporting on my food and work out on Monday. Thanks,

-ROBIN

I just got back from a party and i was swimming for like 3 hours!!!:)

I feel pretty healthy today, (minus my dinner)
For breakfast I had a slice of raisin bread. (I guess that's healthy?) And for lunch I had a tuna sandwich.

And I like..hardly snacked at all today.
(I slipped with some Ho Ho's and a frappacino though at work xD)

i am going to let everyone know about me.

i am 5'5''
i am 13
i am 160 pounds.

i think i am overweight but my best friend says i'm not.

I went swimming twice today and altogether i was in for 4 hours. :D

Today I went swimming for an hour and a half.
I also just came inside from playing frisbee/soccer for about 30-45 minutes.
I'll probably do some exercises with weights or WATP (Walk Away the Pounds) later.

It feels really good to be active! :thumbsup2

havne't done anything today...and ate mostly junk

Well some junk

for breakfast i had some plain yogurt with half a banana and granola
for lunch Chicken noodle soup and a cookie
Snack popcorn, slurpee and licorice at the movies
and dinner pasta...

I have my strength exersizes tonight left...tommorow i'll do tae bo proboly...

I had an oreo blast today.
Man, they filled that cup FULL of cookies.
There was hardly any ice cream.
It was so good, but so bad. xD

Sitll need to find new yoga videos.
I'm gonna start doing my video every other day.

Weekends are my lazy days...

I have set them aside for my body to rest so again i did nothing

so today
i did my tae bo video and i found that on demand on my tv has the walk a mile videos so i did one of those...

All i've eaten so far is a burger and fries which is alot of calories. I've drank 2 cups and 2 bottles of water too.

Yesterday I was bad and didn't exercise :rolleyes1

Today I ran a mile and played frisbee with my dad for 25 minutes. I also did some squats (I guess thats the best way to explain them... I just know they hurt).

I've actually been keeping up with exercising which surprises me. Now I really have to work on eating better. I have to take my senior portraits on Aug. 13th so I'm really hoping to look at least a little bit better for those.

I also think we're taking a cruise for spring break next year (March) and I really want to look good for that. I don't know if I'll be able to pull off a bikini by then, but I sure hope so! :woohoo:

anyone call pull of a bikini if they have the confidence!

I'm an ,i'm not sure what size i am anymore, but i'm wearing a bikini and I never thought i could

Aww thanks! That really gave me the confidence to keep working hard :)

I've never been slim enough to wear a bikini except maybe when I was little - but back then it was all about the one piece tye-dye speedos! :rotfl:
