I just realized I never posted the pic of the shirt I bought for Adam. I think it's nice. Especially with a pair of jean shorts.

Like I said it was hard to find things that weren't too cutesy. And he's already got 2 others tees that are kind of iffy, but he said he'd wear them.


I went out to the store today and stocked up on medicines. I guess Hannah's little illness reminded me I'd better be prepared just in case, so I now have enough meds to stock a small pharmacy!
Well, not really, but it sure feels like it.

The kids are almost done with school and then I can start thinking about packing.

So jealous! By comparison, I leave in 17 WEEKS!

So far no calls from the nurse to come get her so I'm hoping she'd doing better now.

Thanks!! He's too small for the men's tees, and yet the boys tees are too babyish. He's just not into Cars, or Buzz Lightyear or any of the other typical boy characters. It's hard being 13 I guess, in more ways then one!


Now the girly stuff on the other hand, yikes! I could go bankrupt with all that cute stuff!! And it's more ok for an older girl to still wear cutesy girly stuff. Heck, look at me, I'm 36 and still adore the Princesses.

Today I am doing tons of this:

I want everything clean and ready to be easily packed. And also I don't want to have anymore laundry then necessary when we get back. That's the part of returning from a long trip that I hate; all the laundry!!


Kohls is having a sale and with my Kohls card I can get an extra 30% off starting this Thursday, so I am going to take the older two shopping for a few more summer items. Here in Vegas, you really can't have too many summer clothes.

And right now our Bath and Body store is having a HUGE sale! I don't know if it's at all of the stores or not, but I went yesterday and bought over 23 items for only $59 including tax!! Things that were normally $10, were only $3. I'm thinking of going back and getting some travel sized items.
I know I shouldn't, but it's mighty tempting.......

No no you want to save that extra money for souvenirs. And Dole Whips and Churros. Boy I know about the laundry. I am always doing DH and I's laundry right before we leave. Our clothes are always the last loads I do. Sounds like you had fun shopping.

I couldn't resist. But I tried to be more practical today.
I got 2 gift baskets that I will save for someone's b-day or perhaps Christmas.

Do you know the anti-bacterial hand sanitizers they sell? Well, those were 5 for $5 so I had to get five of those. We will for sure use those on the trip.

I got several travel items, always useful, and one of those Wallflower air freshener plug-ins in the Sweet Cinammon Pumpkin scent.
All of that including tax, was 30 bucks. Not too bad. So now I'll cut out a churro or two.

You actually did really good. I am the queen of the hand santizers so I understand carrying them with you on the trip. I always bring the wipe ones too so that when we get to the hotel I can sanitize things like the remote.

Hi there! My DS13 will only wear it while at Disneyland, and even then I'm kind of pushing my luck. LOL I'm sure in another year or so, he'll put his foot down and say no more!!

The Tinkerbell shirts were from the Disney Store. They were dirt cheap too! I can't remember exactly but I think it was around $5 on clearance.

Yep, that's me! I'm going to try to pose for a few more pics this time around. Ugh, I just hate having my picture taken, but I realized that my poor kids have very few pics with or of their old mom, so I'd better suck it up and just say "cheese!"

Well, the packing has begun! Finally. I've spent the entire day running errands, doing even more laundry and packing for SIX!

I am a lousy packer. I always over pack and yet still manage to forget something.

I already have so much luggage you'd think we were going to be gone for months! I was trying not to bring too much because we will be staying part of the time at my MIL's house and I figured I could wash some clothes at her place.

Well, no sooner did I get mostly everything shoved in to the suitcases, when my DH calls from work to say he just heard from his mom and her dryer doesn't work!!

Ugh, I cannot fit anymore in at this point so if we run out of clothes we might have to hit the Kohls or Target down the street from her house.
