How far from WDW and Universal?

thinking of staying here for a few days next year.

It's right down the road from where I live. It's about 12 miles to Epcot and MK. The location is beautiful.

We haven't stayed there, but we have visited a few times. We were considering spending a couple of nights there in October, but have opted instead for the brand new Rosen Shingle Creek (which could end up being a mistake judging by some comments posted here in the last 24 hours!)

It is a beautiful resort in a lovely location. It is right next to exit 58 of the I-4, so the journeys to both Disney and Universal are much quicker than you might imagine. We stayed at Reunion Resort (nearby) in January and will be doing so again in a month's time. The travelling times are really not that much different to places we've stayed quite a bit closer to WDW.

We stayed there last summer fairly soon after it opened. We loved it. They have a lazy river that you can swim or ride through and it is quite peaceful. The pool is zero entry on two ends with a nice slide and some other features. It never seemed too crowded at the pools. You can get on the parkway to get to Disney; it's pretty close by, but you may not want to leave the hotel! We did not eat at any of the restaurants, which were a bit pricey. Join the Omni frequent stay program for free and they will bring you your choice of juice or coffee in the am.
