I don't think I personally have ever seen it this crowded! We're staying at the Grand Californian and we're enjoying the hotel currentl because there is no use in being in the park if you only ride 1 ride every few hours!

Do you guys think tomorrow will be so crowded?

Well, most of the schools have tomorrow off and next Monday off as well. I would think that it would be busy both weekends.

Our schools up here, actually had a four day weekend. No school friday either. We hit the snow.

Top no school with great weather!

Wow! I'm really surprised at this--I was at DL yesterday and had early entry for MM and by 9 a.m. had gone on Peter Pan, Toad, Pinnochio, Snow White. By 10 a.m had gone on Pirates and Haunted Mansion and Pooh. Didn't ride anything else because I had lunch and left early (wanted to ridy Indy but it was down). The night before I took the monorail from DTD to DL with very little wait (got to ride in the front!) walked on Star Tours at approx. 4 p.m., then walked into It's Tough to be a Bug and Soarin (the latter using the single rider line). I then was at the special seating for the electrical parade for the rest of the evening.

So, I had no trouble getting on rides the last couple of days--did you use the Magic Morning? That really is key, although it was starting to get busy when I left at 2 p.m. yesterday.

We drove in from (guess which state) and arrived around 2PM. It was single file down mainstream. Pirates was 30 minutes. A fastpass gotten at 4PM was for 7:45PM.

30 minutes isn't a very long wait for a ride at all, in my opinion.

And even if you can't get on a lot of rides, I think there's always plenty to do in the parks. I love walking through the shops. And even just sitting and people watching is fun.

True true it isn't long to wait but I do think it's long to wait for Pirate's.

It WAS crowded today! So crowded I even took a picture of the crowds in NOS from Tom Sawyer Island. We'll be there tomorrow too.

We did get on a lot of rides today even though we left at 3- got Ridemax yesterday, and DANG it worked! It even predicted what time our Fastpass for Indy would be available... it was correct to 5 minutes. Ridemax predicted our wait at Pirates to be 35 minutes at 1:15 and it was 30 minutes. I'm sold on it now!

I was shocked at how crowded it was today too! We hit both DL and DCA and left both parks quickly. The lines to purchase tickets were even insane and the lines to get into both parks were crazy too. Lines for the rides were way longer than any other Sunday I can remember in a loooong time. We are from So. CA and DON'T get tomorrow off. The schools stopped allowing two days off about 8 years ago. We take presidents day only and it is next Monday so I am not sure how many people were here today becasue they have tomorrow off.......

I can tell you I am glad we are AP holders and I would have been very upset with the crowds today if I can for one day only....

i've never heard of ridemax. hmm....i suppose i shall google it now.

I can always tell how crowded it is just by the line of POTC. Last June we pretty much always just walked on. The line was always moving! In October it was PACKED. On our last day it was way over 30 minutes (the rest of the park was so packed, it was just wall to wall people). With it being such a high capacity ride, it normally moves pretty quick!

when pirates first reopened after they added jack...the line was insane. it stretched all the way to the french fry stand outside of big thunder. and then it wrapped back and forth in front of rivers of america (or whatever it's called) where people normally sit and watch fantasmic. they told us a two hour wait and it think it ended up being 30-45.

Mrs. Bee, I was skeptical of it... decided to give it a "trial run" today, since tomorrow I am bringing a DLR newbie who is a WDW vet, and has only 1 day available to go.

Even with crazy crowds (and weather that had to be high 70s'-low 80s- I so thought of you when even I started to feel HOT!), Ridemax got us on just about everything we planned to see, and we left at 3:30 as planned.

So I guess I'll be keeping that Ridemax subscription after all!

Ah!! I do not want to hear this, lol. We are going next Thursday and Friday. I hope it wont be that crowded. At least for one of the days. :scared:

We were there Fri.2/8 through today 2/10. Friday was great, no lines but we left at 5:00 so after that I'm not sure. They didn't even have the fast passes for some of the rides. Saturday was busier but we got there early and did a lot of the Fantasyland rides. You should be fine on Thursday and try to get there early Friday it will still be fun.... Good Luck!!!!

I knew we were in trouble when it took forever just to get into the parking structure. Yikes. I understand that they are expecting bigger crowds next weekend because most people have next weekend as the presidents holiday. The two So Cal annual passes are blocked out for next weekend and that is usually a sign of crowds!

Did you have any small children in your party? And did you stick directly to the plan? And did you feel like you had to move move move to get where the itinerary told you, or did you move at a touristy pace?

I'm debating whether Ridemax will be worth it for our trip or not, lol.

Yeah, that's kind of an exception to that rule. Thankfully that doesn't happen very often!

No small kids, (almost 8 and 11) no Fantasyland rides this time. It didn't make us feel super rushed (I picked "slow" as the pace since the grandparents were joining us). We did go on SM when it was "time" to get the FP for it, because it was a 15 min. wait, and ended up skipping doing BTMRR, but we mostly got done what we wanted. No hurried pace. Getting there and being in line before 9 am really did make a difference. We really were on Buzz by 9:05. After the first hour or so I didn't worry about following it "to the minute", but it did turn out that the pm rides like POTC and Indy were pretty much to the minute of Ridemax's predicted times and when we actually got on them.

They do have a money back guarantee, if you don't think it works for you. That made me agree to buy it. Tomorrow I have a VERY aggressive schedule planned including parkhopping. Will let you know how I feel about it after tomorrow on a commando day, instead of a regular day that just happened to be super crowded.
