OMGOSH I FOUND it!!!!

a year and a half ago I had taken off my wedding band and engagement ring, I always do this at night, I cant sleep with them on at all! well in the morning all I could find was my engagement ring ( the one with the diamonds). I searched high and low for my wedding band and kicked myself for not having them soldered together when I had the chance years ago.

I had given up of ever finding it again and just wore my engagement ring. well today I was cleaning out my closet ( a place that I had looked over and over again, and BTW cleaned several times in the last year and a half ) and lo and behold there was my wedding band!!! I have no idea how it got there, it was in a bag on the floor. I dont know if my cat was playing with it and took in it there or what happened but I FOUND IT!! Im So happy!!

Congratulations on your find......that's where I found mine too 12 years after I had "lost" them.
Turns out the cat had dragged it to the closet and then she tried to play with it while by the edge of the carpet. It ended up getting tucked neatly underneath the edge and we found it when we replaced the carpeting!

So happy for you. I lost my engagement ring 7 years ago, and it hasn't turned up yet. My DH replaced it was a diamond that is over twice the size of my original one but it's just not the same.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad you found it!! I have lost two rings in my life and both turned up much later in strange places. I kind of think my cats had something to do with it myself I can imagine how happy you are to have it back again

I know why you found it. There are people that live in a world that is one second ahead of ours. Their job is to create the world we see. Every once and a while we change our minds or they forget to put something small into the upcoming scene like your car keys, the odd sock or, perhaps, a wedding ring. When the big bosses have a review, they look back over the years and from time to time, realize that someone forgot something here and there. Then they wait for you to retrace your steps and quickly draw the missing item back in.

Now I didn't think of that. I saw that on a scifi show years ago. Nothing before or since has made more sense of why things aren't there one second and then are there the next.

Thats great!! Happy for you. I gave my mom my wedding ring when we moved because it didnt fit anyway and I didnt want it disappearing during the move. Well I thought I knew where she kept it but she passed away, we cleaned out her house and we havent found it yet. It might be in a box in our garage. DH packed everything up. It will be like you, finding the buried treasure!! Well my dh lost his wedding ring too. Oh well. You are blessed.
