Omg POFQ

I booked it omg I am so happy and nervous at the same time, due to my family size we can never do moderates or deluxe due to money because i have to always get two rooms, but this time I just had to splurge.....its 359.00 more then staying at the AOA.....I just hope I don't regret it....
Although my younger kids might mind it a bit because the AoA property is awesome to look at, I was just dying to try something different.

Someone talk to me, lol, tell me it will be ok!!!!!!

My kids love the smallness of the resort and the boat to DTD.
I love the hot tub!

It's our favourite moderate for sure! LOVE the size and boat ride to DTD. Campfire / marshmallow roasting and movies in the courtyard, great pool games. We love the laid back jazz music/theme. Have a great time. My DD's have 'grown up' to teens at POFQ! They still love it.
ETA- my kids too have always loved the size of POFQ as mentioned by Disneylover99 and because of the size we've always felt a bit more comfortable giving them some freedom around resort when they were younger, such as getting their own drink refill at food court.

The furthest room from the bus is closer than the closest room at any other resort. never tested this theory but all the rooms are REALLY close to everything. I love this place, your kids will enjoy it.. The pool and playground in the center is never horribly crowded. Riverside is a nice boat ride or walk along the river away.. Food court is clean, laundry is better equipment and faster than the budget ones. Boat to DTD is great. Watching the horse and carriage go by is fun (if your around when the rides are happening).. It's also a really quiet hotel.

I need a really good reason to not book my trip around a room being available at POFQ.

POFQ is an awesome resort!!!! It's nice and small and we experienced excellent bus service there.

It was nice to be able to walk over to the food court at POR as well, because it's really good.

The pool is a great one with nice theming for the smaller folk. It's a compact resort so no long walking (unless you take my advice and take a stroll to POR along the river). Bus use is fantastic at both POFQ and POR. You will not be disappointed.

Well I've only stayed at Riverside - but we LOVED it there and I can't wait to go with my girls in three years and stay at French Quarter!

We made the same choice for our trip this month and have the same concerns. We have always done AS Movies for the theming, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to at least try POFQ. I'd love to know more about the campfire. We will be making a supermarket stop- should we pick up marshmellows, or are you not allowed to? Also, can I still request a cot? There'll be four of us, but no one wants to sleep with my youngest, LOL...
