quick screaming vent here................ EXTENTED FAMILY

I am soooooooooo getting the crap kicked out of me this month! Life is a challenge these days! What gets me so crazy is I am doing what I am suppose to, I am being a responsible adult!! But darn if anyone else to do what they are suppose to! It's like all coming on me when others aren't doing their own stuff. ARGGG! I keep chanting "not mine to fix not mine to fix" but man they aren't liking it.

Oh dear, hang in there! It is so hard to be in the 'why does this happen to me when I have followed all the rules' position. DH has lived with that for many years with his family...which is why we spend almost no time with them.

NEVER EVER under estimate the power of a good TOP O' THE LUNGS scream!

Sweetie, nobody knows better than I do about getting too much piled on at once (please note my signature) my niece escaped a hoprrid motorcycle crash where the cycle exploded into flames! All she got was a concusion and some bruises. It will pass, you will get through it and then look back and say "I ROCK!" Then run off to WDW for a reward!

Oh dear, hang in there! It is so hard to be in the 'why does this happen to me when I have followed all the rules' position. DH has lived with that for many years with his family...which is why we spend almost no time with them.

so right! it's all MY darn family too! DH's are all great thank god But why O why do I get the short end of the stick when I am the only one doing the right thing?? I get penalized for NOT being a screw up Sometimes it seems appealing to be one of the "duh ha" group well not really

It feels good to scream yep! But since I am at work at my desk lol, I needed to type a good scream.

I need my trip to come fast! You know, I only answer my cell when I am therem if it is my hubby or son. So I took that and now I don't answer it unless I am ready and willing to deal with junk. It is very liberating to take control of my time like that. I am learning more and more, how to stop the madness from coming my way. But some people are NOT liking that me part of me.

You know it! Last week my 15 year old made me run away from home! She said she was going to leave and I thought to myself, why should she get to go? I am the one with the car keys, I'm outta here!!!

I had to laugh at this one! My 15 yr. old ds wanted to run away too last week. They must be twins! The funny part is that I grabbed my keys and sat in the car for a few minutes for some peace. I keep thinking that it's going to get better, but somehow I'm challenged on a daily basis.

My kids think I'm crazy when I yell the Seinfeld quote: "Serenity Now, Serenity Now!"

I can put the dogs in a kennel & nobody calls Child & Family Services, they never ask for the keys to the car & when I give them heck, they look so contrite, it breaks my heart, instead of ticking me off!

The difference between us is I packed a bag and left. My mom lives an hour away and came to get her so I could go home. She is so sweet sometimes and other times, I don't even know her

And the funny thing is, tomorrow could be a great day! It's almost like they are manic-depressive at this age. When she was little I used to want to keep her small...now I cannot WAIT for her to GROW UP ALREADY!!!

Funny you should mention child protective services. My daughter last year called CPS on my husband after she got spanked. DH is a cop, we are lucky it didn't cost him his job. Thankfully they ruled in our favor but you can't even touch your own kids now for fear of them calling CPS. Insane. If I knew 15 years ago what I know now, I might have opted for the dog too.

Boy can I relate to all you parents of "meanagers". I laughed my you know what off when DisneyBridein2k3 said she ran away. What a great idea!!!!! I feel a mom only WDW trip coming on. I swear Military School or Boarding school looks better each year .
