I started in 1997/98 then something happened with my screen name when I switched internet companies.. I was Amickeyfan.. so when I resigned up, I went with A Mickeyfan.. and lost my original status.. but that is ok... I know when I came here

I too was here before the board reset.. I thought that was in 2000 wasn't it??? I thought that was one of the reasons why I had 2000 as my join date? My name mess up was before 2000, think that was in 99... I didn't have many posts to Amickeyfan.. I have no clue where my 2000 join date came from if that wasn't the board reset??????

8/99 seems to be the reset date. I found the DIS between my 1995 & 1997 WDW trips. There was only one board and Pete was still a pretty frequent poster. A lot of changes since then!

This month is 5 yrs for me I think, but I think I was 'visiting' about a yr before I started posting...

I'm another that has been around since before the board reset. Did you know that if you hold your curser over your screen name and look at the bottom you can see your registration number. Mine is 1776.

I passed the 8 year mark back in May. I remember when the Member List worked and you could see who was on....who joined when, etc. Then the DIS got too big and they disabled it...

I was also reset. I base my time here on my son's age. He was 5 when I found the DIS and he's now 16 1/2! He barely remembers life without the DIS!

Its weird to think that we have been chatting about our trips to Disney for 10++ years (and earlier on the original boards) and its weird to think how much time has gone by and all that has happened in our lives.
I have researched and posted about 15 trips now

just think how much the internet is part of our lives now and how many times you have said "oh let me ask on the boards about that?"
I am here almost every day and am always able to find things here way quicker than the disney website
