well I thought I had one but now Im thinking of not starting our APs until our 3rd full day at WDW (want to return w/the APs before our 8/06 cruise)
and thinking of using pts at VWL instead of staying at Pop part of our time

so who else redoes and redoes their itinerary?
this may get changed again once the hours become available but I do need something I can use when our PS time opens up

For our last trip in Oct i changed our plans 23 times

how do i know this?....

Well SIL was coming with us ( the reason for at lest 1/2 the changes)
and i emailed her a new itinerary every change so i just checked my sent files
( i really need to empty that) and there were 23 emails regariding itinerary

Wow din't realize it was that many times
then when we got to Orlando and MIL saw capones we had to make a change agian cause she wanted to go there

I thought we were the only ones. My family makes fun of us. When my DD and DSIL go with us - we usually book about one year out. That way we get to talk about it all year. Well - the last few times they both said - let us know week before we go since it will change until that time. We never realized just how much we tinker with our schedule.

Sometimes - it is beyond us - say if codes come out and we have to be flexible with our dates, etc.

For example - last year we added them as a surprise to our trip and did not tell them till week before we went. They started out in the Contemporary Garden Wing for 3 nights, then moved up to the Tower Club - 6 nights - same as us and then we got a AAA code on the 14th floor so we moved up to there. So we were in 3 different rooms in just one hotel while planning that year.

Thank you so much for this thread - made me feel normal.

Quite a few times actually. I create my tenative one and then after I learn about the going-ons, I change it again, and then when I get my PS I change it again......

This time I created one, changed it when I learned what the gay days schuedules were, then looked at the gay days schedule and the "parks are busiest on these days" schedule and changed it to avoid those parks...then I planned my parks around Star Wars weekend and The Flower and Garden Festival...then decided on my PS and was blessed to get each of the four I wanted. So I think we are good now with no more changes.

So glad that is over. I thought I was being obsessive, so I am glad to see we all like to be particular about our planning.

I often do up an itinerary just to decide on which parks to hit on which part of a particular day. This depends on such things as park hours, EMH, evening PS's and some general personal favorites.

But the funny thing is that once actually at WDW this often all goes out the window and we wind up doing whatever we feel like on the spur of the moment.

Especially with the park and EMH changing, I am thinking I will have to play around with it a couple more times before we actually decide on one itinerary. But what can I say, I LOVE to plan. IT'S GREAT FUN.

Wouldn't want anybody else doing it but me.....
