OMG Greys Anatomy

I'm o.k. with Christina and Burke getting married, but I certainly hope Callie gives George an emphatic NO!

Crap! I fell asleep. Is it going to re-air tonight?

Denae

I also cried when Jillie's best friend said goodbye and let her go home. :( So so sad.

OMG, the tears were running down my face. I cried last week also when George's dad died. I think Christina might say yes, which would probably shock everyone and I think Callie will say no.

Does ANYONE else think that Callie MIGHT just find out she is PG and it MIGHT just be Mc Steamy's ????? from that one night stand?
I have been waiting for THAT bombshell..

Poor Richard, his wife certainly moved on quickly. After so many years of marriage and only a few months of seperation and now bam. I was surprised at that.

I think she had him in the wings for a long time, and the ultimatum she gave him was her way of letting the decision be made.

If she is, I give up. These girls need to use birth control.

Wait, I thought they were sisters.

No, best friends. They were born 2 days apart and at the end the Amish mother said she would tell her mother what a fine woman she had grown into. :sad1:

I think Callie will say yes and Christina will say no, which will lead to her and Burke breaking up. I don't think either will get married though.

of course this means chief can go back as head of the clinic.....

and in the previews they mention something of Mer's mom getting her memory back, so she could remember she was in love with Chief....

This show is fantastic! I love it more than anything lol.

Anyways, I think Christina opened up alot this week, telling Burke she was in it for the long haul and I think she may very well say yes to the engagement (after alot of debate!), but I think they'll have a long engagement. Christina needs to move in baby steps.

I also think Callie'll say yes. She loved George last season after only a few episodes and it's taken him forever to realize he's loved her all along too. I definitely think they'll get married before the season's out.

As far as Merideth and Derek, I love them, and I like that they're actually communicating this time around. I think it was important that Derek told Mer that no matter how bad things are or how mad they are at each other, he's always going to come back to her at the end of the day. And I sensed a little foreshadowing at the end, as mer was telling Derek he was going to make an amazing Chief of Surgery.

I love the idea of Bailey opening the free clinic because she needs a reason to believe and Izzie funding it. It gives Izzie a perfect opportunity to get emotionally involved with her patients and not get in trouble for it.

I also really loved the shot of the four attendings sitting in a row b!itching like the interns always do. It really echoed what Bailey was saying about how she's lost her belief in them all. In the past 3 seasons, the line that was seperating the interns from the attendings has really pretty much evaporated and it will be interesting to see if some of it will be brought back. And "the Nazi's back."

Speaking of Bailey, no one has mentioned the conversation where the Chief told her he had always intended for her to be Chief of Surgery, but that she wasn't ready yet. I find that very interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how that'll play out.

As far as next week goes: Ellis getting her mind back will serve to be an amazing storyline, I think. So much has happened, with Meredith and with the Chief, that it'll be interesting to see how she takes it all. Not only that, but the Chief's marriage is finally over and Thatcher is long gone from Ellis's life. Maybe the Chief and Ellis will finally be together after all this time.

I knew the minute Bailey mentioned free clinic Izzy would find her "good" for the money.

ME too!!

Great Epi last night!

I realllly hope Callie says yes!!

ooo the jilly best friend goodbye was sad, but when the mother turned around and TALED to her, i lost it!

i'm such a sap!

I think no and maybe.

I hate Burke. It has nothing to do with the recent controversy. I just hate his character. He's arrogant and self-absorbed to the point of being beyond irritating. And Christina is far from my favorite character as well, frankly if they both left the show I wouldn't miss them.

I think Callie is going to tell George "No" but more of a "I need time." I don't think they will end up together though. George is too emotional to be thinking straight right now.

I have always thought that Bailey was the single strongest character on the show, and I'm so glad that Chief finally told her what she was unable to open her eyes to. She is smart, compassionate, level-headedand she doesn't take any crap off of the rest of those knucklehead ego-docs! And my God, Izzy giving Denny's money to start the clinic, I cried about that--how perfect. It goes back to the conversation that Bailey had with Izzy a couple of episodes ago about how she is overly emotional AND a doctor, and Bailey had better get over it. How perfect! We should have seen that coming. :cloud9:

At first I thought "poor Chief" but now, well, he made his bed, and I can't blame his wife for moving on. That woman put up with more than she should have.

I wish McSteamy would just leave, he's so annoying.

And the Jillie segment--I thought it was so perfect when her mom turned around and told her best friend that she would tell her mother she had seen her and she was well, and then hugged her. I think it showed a mothers love for her daughter, and the appreciation and understanding she had for what Jillie's friend had just done.

Awesome episode last night! Loved it! Just when I think I can figure out what they're doing, they still surprise me. I was expecting the George and Callie proposal but not the Burke and Christina. It will be interesting to see how the Ellis storyline plays out now that she gets her memory back.

I thought last night's epsidode was great as well, although I tend to love anything with Patrick Dempsey in it.:thumbsup2  I LOVED the Amish part of the show, the friendship between those two girls and then the mom speaking to the friend, oh that was heartbreaking. It wasn't the easiest episode in the world for me to watch though as I just dealt with cervical cancer in September. :sad1: Kind of brought it all back.
