OK, I have what could be a reallllly stupid question about this mornings Ding! fares This is the fist time that I've noticed all my Dings were out of my home airport. Aren't the ding fares usually the same for everyone??

I've wondered about that, too...and clearly you have gotten a DING today that some of the rest of us did not (but i did notice our airport in your post)...maybe they are targeted to specific audiences? Any ideas out there?

Well, my DING fares are almost all out of Cleveland to everywhere but Florida it seems except Jacksonville, strange...... but nice if this is going to be new thing for DING fares! The problem is this is through 11/17 only and I need 12/17....maybe next time! Maybe they are now gearing DINGS to individual zip codes!

I noticed today that my home airport is the only cities that show up as well. Maybe it's a special? I just saved $32.55 and got better times for my trip in October!

Being the control freak that I am, it would mess me up if they only DING us with fares from our local airport. I sometimes travel with friends (including my adult children!) who would obviously be leaving from other cities...so that will make it hard for me to get an idea of when there are good travel opportunities for us. By the way, still no DING for me today...at all...from anywhere!

I went back and changed my home airport from Loiusville to Orlando, just to see what would happen. I restarted my computer, and when I checked the Ding! offer, it was all departures out of Orlando. Today's offers must be airport-specific.

But, I can't even access the SWA site right now. It is running VERY slow.

You're right! Mine all show to and from St. Louis but I can fly out of both St. Louis and Kansas City. I don't like this as well.

Today is my DH B-day.
He has been bummed out fares are up.
He has been wanting to visit his DD DSIL & 2 DGS.
Got dinged today $90. each way.
