OMDD Pre-trip Planning Thread

That was really neat. Thanks for sharing the video. So how long were you actually in the park on Lead Day, and was it only the MK part of the park that was open 24 hours?

Thanks! I arrived at MK a little after 5 AM, got in at 6AM and we stayed there until my phone told me it was 6AM the following day. I was awake from 3:30AM on the 29th until around 8AM on the 1st. In WDW, MK was the only park open the full 24 hours - all the other parks had normal operating hours.

And you stayed in MK the whole time, or did you park hop until the other parks closed? I've never been to WDW, but I have surmised from reading the boards that hopping at WDW is not as easy (but doable) as it is at DL.

I usually try to do one park a day instead of cramming them in. It also depends on what the kids want... a little lol

Deb- Congrats on the 500 Bumping us up on this thread. Hopefully we hear something this week for WDW pickers and we can start posting again. But I like our closed group So much more informative

As soon as I officially hear my information regarding my dates and hotel I'll let you all know! I'm sorry to say I haven't been keeping up on the facebook posts, but it seems to be pretty hopping over there.

Sorry I don't recall who contacted Ventura. But they told her that the winners info was sent on Wednesday. I think it was a post by me and then the comments followed with that mentioned.

Ok I finally I got my information! My trip is from August 3-7 and we'll be that the Grand Floridian. All were our first choices

Yeah it seems like it for now. It won't be bad though. We'll all make sure our schedules allow each person to have time to themselves and relax while the others are out and about. I'm not sure what the options are for adding an additional room or how that will work, so I figured I wouldn't mess with it lol.
