Well this baby hasn't been born yet so we haven't sent in our requests yet. But we'll be going to WDW sometime next March. Hoping for the Poly and spending 2 or 3 extra days at AKL (our home resort.)

No, we're not, I promise. I just think the other thread is going to be forgotten about, and a lot of people have asked for trip updates, and reports.

No worries...I'm just jealous...entered every day and NOTHING! :sad1:

;)

I've been entering everyday as well, but haven't won. We do have a stay at BCV in June, the 3rd to the 8th, and hoping that if I win, that will cover costs LOL I keep trying!! congrats to all the winners!!

Hi, I'm subscribing so I don't lose the thread. Looking forward to hearing about the winners' plans. Congrats! :thumbsup2

All right. Here is the scoop:

Where: WDW
When: Dec. 13 - 19 (We added 2 days)
Resort: Animal Kingdom Lodge
FYI: we also are adding the cruise on to the end of our trip

Great idea to start this thread. I can't wait to see everyone's posts and trip reports/photos! :)

Still waiting on our letter from DL to choose dates. Hope it arrives soon! I'm going crazy checking the mailbox each day. :dance3:

We're going to DL and staying at the Disneyland Hotel July 14-18. After that we're heading to San Diego for a week. :)

I won't tell.;)

Hey thanks! I appreciate that. ;)

Seriously though, it's been SO hard to do because we are pretty dang excited. There's been a few times that we have almost caved and told them.

We are trying to come up with a really fun way to tell them. Our plan is not to let the cat out until the day before we leave, or even the morning of. I'm a little worried that if we wait until the night before, they won't sleep and we have to get up early to catch our flight. When we go, my oldest will be 8 and my youngest will be mere days from turning 6 - so pretty excitable ages.

Of course, I've got nothing BUT time to plan it all out. I think of all the things that will happen between now and then (school ending, summer vaca, school starting again, birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving...) and it seems like it's an eternity away!

I wouldn't tell them until the morning you get up to go to the airport. I think that's more fun! You pack everything in secret (not the easiest thing to do) and tell them in some fun way when you wake them up in the morning. I think that's what I would do (and wish I had done it that way as well with our two boys). ;) We've gone to WDW 7 times with our boys and it's been a surprise every time. We live 7 hours away so we always tell them we're going somewhere else. They never figure it out because they're so busy watching movies in the car. We're always sure that as soon as they see all the billboards driving through Orlando that they'd realize but they don't even look away from the movie. It's fun (and much easier for us) to surprise them. No asking 80 million times, "when are we going?" or "are we there yet?" :rotfl:

We suprised our girls one year and didn't tell them until I woke them up to go to the airport. I had secretly packed their stuff and they were so shocked and excited. Your kids are going to be so excited! What a great family memory.
I remember seeing somehwere where a family suprised their kids and had them unwrap a box and it had helium filled disney balloons in it. Once they opened the box and the balloons floated up they told them. So cute!
