But it was good for the most part! I really liked the Aboriginal dancing and the fiddlers.



Jw, are they selling the red mittens in the states? Someone told me they are selling them for like $30 a pair there; they are only 10 here lol.

I don't know anywhere you can get them in the states I got some in Canada for $10... they are like the cheepest Olympic item around...

There out of stock everywhere but the Olympic Superstore in Vancouver that's where I got mine and the store has a hour long wait to get in then you have to wait another 30 minutes to pay for your sell as one person said well waiting in line "It's just like Disneyland if you want to see or do something you wait in line" Somebody's response was "Where's the fast passes?" I don't know if there available in other parts of Canada but I know in the Whistler to Vancouver area there completely out of stock other than the Olympic super store, nearly half the people there have them and I know there in huge demand right now

they are honestly they BEST mitts i've ever owned! i got them for christmas and i've been wearing them so much i got myself another pair just in case i ever lose them!!! my whole fam has them. for only $10 they're a pretty sweet deal, the cheapest olympic gear you can get (besides the little character keychains)
i bet they're impossible to get in vancouver, but i swear they must bring in truckloads everday to zellers & the bay here because they sell out but they always have more immediately!

i love the US teams sweaters, like the one stephen colbert was wearing yesterday! soooo nice!!!!!! you guys go all out eh with ralph lauren stuff!! is it expensive to get the US olympic gear?

since the bay & zellers make our stuff it's not outrageously expensive (except this one knitted sweater i wanted was $350!!!!!!! and the women's fitted hockey jerseys are $90!!)

I don't think so The year the winter olympics was held in Salt Lake City, I got the USA team Hat I cherish that thing yo!

I really like the USA's halfpipe flannel. That was reaaally cute!

We love the mittens and they are a really awesome deal... I spent $10 on a keychain for a friend and got the mittens for the same cost. And the Olympic Super store is real expensive I got a t-shirt just a normal Ralph Lauren Long Sleeve White T-Shirt for $75 All it said on it was Team USA and Ralph Lauren... Also I got a VanOc Fleece for the same for the same cost... Then there was this one Ralph Lauren sweater I like till I saw the cost $610!!! I got a Ralph Lauren sweater for $210 thank goodness my daddy has a Ralph Lauren obsession... I love Ralph Lauren and so does my dad he says that I look great in it. Also he makes a high quality clothes so it's nice . But there selling Olympic gear online and my dad's going to wait to see if the price goes down on the $610 jacket I liked since the price seems to go down like crazy towards the in of the Olympics like things did in Beijing...

Yeah I'm so happy for him and the cutest part of it is he's now dating Olympic all around gymnast Nastia Liukin aw it's so cute together they both have Olympic gold at the Olympics except for ones a winter athlete and the others a summer athlete I really think it's too cute and I'm happy for them both

I've never been a curling fan.
I am however a fan of the Norwegian team's pants...

Still think Canada will win curling, and I'm not even watching it.
We'll get women's hockey too.

I doubt it on men's hockey. I don't care, they're still making a big deal out of a gold medal we won back in 2002. Stop living in the past.

geez there's so much drama going on with figure skating. i cant stand evgeni plushenko he's so friggin smug i'm glad evan lysacek won over him!!

omg and my new hero is jon montgomery!! he won gold in skeleton and they showed on CTV him walking through whistler to go to the stage to talk to a reporter and it was the coolest thing ever! people were handing him pitchers of beer and he was chugging them back and he like hugged and high fived eeeveryone and then everyone started singing oh canada, it was so cute!!

i have to work all day today and tomorrow so i won't be able to watch and i'm not gonna be able to stand watching hockey tomorrow night -- canada vs usa! it'll be such a close game and i hate watching when it's so close because i get so anxious haha

I admit I am not a big follower of hockey but I had no idea the USA was going to be a close competitor for Canada. I know when the USA did win the gold one time they made a movie about it or something so I assumed it must be a rare occurance.

I'm a supporter of my country but hockey is Canada's thing to me so I think they should win because they are at home.

My problem with Evgeni Plushenko is that he's trying to make himself look good, but get his opinion out there. He's all 'I'm happy I got silver, and I'm not saying I should have won, but I think the scoring was unfair.'
He's contradicting himself to look good, but everyone knows he thinks he should have won and he's not happy with it. I dunno, he skated very well earlier in the week, and I didn't see him on Thursday.

But in the end, I don't really care who won. I'm still upset that Patrick Chan skated really bad this year.
