Has anyone else purchased this piece? Mine came today and while I love the detail, it is supposed to light up, but this one doesn't. I plug it in - nothing. Add batteries - nothing. Am I missing the on/off switch?? Anyone?

I have the castle. There is a small button to push under one of the trees. I first thought the tree was loose but than realized it was by design. Look for any "loose" pieces on the periphery.

Somone told me it was the fire hydrant, and poof! The lights went on!
However, I am so afraid that this "button" would break & can't figure out why he wouldn't have a switch built into the base?

:confused3

I have my castle inside a plexiglass case, that cannot easily be removed, so I have the electric cord connected to the castle. The outlet is then connected to a surge protector on the floor that has a button with easier access to it, so I use that to turn on and off.
