Olivia's?

Would someone please let me know about Olivia's at OKW for dinner? What is their speciality, and if you had to compare it to any other WDW restaurant, which one would that be? We have never been then and wanted to try something new.

I don't know that I could compare Olivia's to another WDW restaurant, but DW and I had a very pleasant dinner there last September. We both had the shrimp alfredo. The food was very good and the portions were large. We shared a dessert of warm dutch apple pie with butter pecan ice cream- divine!

I have had lunch at Olivia's several times, being a DVC Member and OKW is my home Resort.

Olivia's is a very casual place with seating both inside and out on the patio. Their specialities are the crab cakes and Key Lime pie. Their Penne with Asiaggo cheese is nice if you are looking for a light meal. Portions are big. They just added several new desserts to their menu also (I ate there yesterday).

If you want a cocktail or beer, the Gurling Suitcase is right next door or you can order at Olivia's too. The Turtle Crawl is tasty.

We are planning on trying Olivia's for the first time in December. We always like to try new places on every trip that we have never dined at before.

Olivia's is a place we eat in every time we are in WDW. My DH loves the crab cakes. Not being a seafood lover, I liek the buttermilk chicken.
It is a casual place, usually no problem getting in.

It's a nice place--hard to exactly compare, but sort of like Boatwrights, Shutters, etc in that most of the folks eating there are those staying at the particular resort.
